Siobhan and Fabiano had the perfect Scottish/Italian wedding at the stunning Barony Castle last year. We LOVED their choice of our purple and grey tartan sashes - tied 2 ways - as a nod to Siobhan’s Scottish roots. A huge congratulations again to the happy couple and “Lang may yer lum reek!” Xx

When Awards are voted for by the people who matter - the clients - they mean the absolute world to whoever receives them. Everyone in the wedding industry works tirelessly to make sure everything comes together on the Big Day, so please take a moment to vote for your favourite suppliers. Xx

When it comes to wedding planning, there is so much that a couple have to take into consideration. Budget, logistics, venue décor, guest list, outfits, hair and makeup, entertainment... The list goes on and on and on! Ooh, and don't forget to add on a meal for your photographer!
But on top of your decision making, you then have to take everyone's opinions into consideration too. When the MOB and the MOG disagree with your choices, treading the fine line between what you w...ant and respecting their views and opinions can be tricky.
On top of that, there's tradition to take into account. Receiving Line, anyone?
And then there's the Bridal forums which can be an absolute MINEFIELD to navigate with varying opinions, 'advice' and tips from other couples in the same boat as you and equally stressed!
For this reason, we are always SO supportive of our couples and their choices for what is ultimately THEIR day.
If someone absolutely hates their venue's recent renovation - let them hate it! Let them vent. MOG is wearing a white dress?! Let the Bride get it off her chest if she's annoyed - she's the BRIDE!
What we're essentially saying, is that everyone places importance on different aspects of their Big Day. What some people will deem devastating, another couple wouldn't bat an eye at, and that's what makes every wedding unique and special.
So for that reason, if you know someone getting married, or you're a member of a forum and someone has asked for advice or opinions, BE NICE. If you have nothing nice to say, sometimes it's kinder to just do what your Momma said and say nothing at all. Those centrepieces that the Bride posted a picture of could have been a gift from a family member that spent hours creating them. Those dresses she's chosen for her maids might have been picked because they were the only dresses one of her maids felt comfortable in. Those flowers she's chosen might be special to her because they remind her of someone unable to make it to the Big Day itself.
So please, be supportive, be helpful, be generous with your time and advice. It will be much appreciated by the couple by the time the day comes. Trust us on that.
And remember, when it comes to weddings, usually our own is the first one we've planned. So let's let everyone enjoy the experience as much as possible. After all, we only plan on doing it once. xx

Ladies and gents it’s getting to that time of year where everyone working in the wedding industry hits peak time.
Coming into summer our team will be out at wedding set-ups most days and while we do have admin staff - they also chip in with set-ups at this time of year. Our team start first thing in the morning and work long hours bringing your dreams and visions to life so it’s not always possible for us to get back to you immediately. This may be the same for other suppli...ers that you have booked too.

Whether you need Ceremony decor inspiration, are looking for ways to bring a colour palate together, want to ask about Beautifully Covered as a company or really want to make the most of your venue, this is the perfect opportunity to get your questions answered xx

Our team get a LOT of enquiries about centre-pieces, and quite often our couples' have no idea what they're looking for. We would always recommend having a think about other aspects of your day, and narrowing down your options to make things a little bit easier.
You can easily change or adapt your centre-piece ideas from there, and DON'T think that just because your centrepieces are included in your package that you can't add a bit of customisation to make them bespoke to you..., as this is something our team are exceptionally good at suggesting!
For example, if you're getting married at the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, you could have some low seasonal floral displays coordinating with your Bridal flowers and include tealights for a romantic touch? Alternatively, you could embrace the existing décor in the venue and make the most of those high ceilings by going for some show-stopping tall florals?
Not into florals? No problems. A cylinder display on a mirrored plate with some complimenting tealights would make the room look classic, elegant and keeps things simple. Into Marvel? Why not have some Lego Marvel Figures dotted in amongst your centrepiece arrangement for a fun and quirky twist that encompasses something about YOU!
There are options for all styles and budgets, but it's always best to have a price in mind when you're trying to decide. And remember, the pictures you see on Pinterest are often of the more expensive options, so be prepared to compromise to get a similar style if you find that what you like ends up being out of budget.
