We’ve decided to take full advantage of our fantastic new all weather courts by offering an Autumn coaching block for our mini tennis and junior players. The first session starts on Saturday (3rd November). Please follow the link to sign up!
We’re hoping that the new floodlights will be installed at the beginning of November but until then it’s too dark to play tennis in the evenings so unfortunately we’ve had to cancel Tuesday Club Nights in the meantime. Club Night will be back just as soon as the floodlights are up and running!
What a beautiful day for our Club Championships! It was great to play lots of tennis in the sunshine. Huge congratulations to our winners:- Gina Adlen is our ladies' singles champion (Juliet Brown was runner up); Sergio Meola is our men's singles champion (Lewis Gilmour was runner up); Juliet Brown and Catie Palmer won the ladies' doubles; Craig Palmer and Paul Burley won the men's doubles and Juliet Brown and Chris Palmer won the mixed doubles. Well done everyone!
Beechgrove Sports Partnership are holding a Race Night at the Buccleuch Arms hotel on Saturday 17th November 2018 - 7pm start. £5 entry on the night (or contact Juliet on 07770831425 to buy tickets in advance) with a chance of winning £50! All proceeds will go towards helping to build a new clubhouse at Beechgrove.
Our juniors played some great tennis today. Well done to everyone who took part in the club championships and congratulations to the winners: Julia Palmer was u8 girls winner, Lucy Palmer was runner up; Archie Brown was the u8 boys winner, Joseph Palmer was runner up; Lauren Gourley was u10 girls winner, Grace Palmer was runner up; Oliver McKinght was u10 boys winner, Harry Brown was runner up; Rose Brown was u12 girls winner, Keeley Scott was runner up; Benjamin Rogerson was u12 boys winner, Daniel Palmer was runner up; Rose Brown was u16 girls winner, Grace Johnson was runner up and Ewan McMillin was u16 boys winner and David Johnson was runner up. It's Junior Championships day on Saturday! U8 registration 9.30 with play starting at 9.45; U10 registration 9.45 with play starting at 10; U12 registration at 10.30 with play starting at 10.45 and U16 registration at 12 noon with play starting at 12.15. Good Luck Juniors!

We’re delighted to be taking part in the #TennisForKids programme again this year. This year, lessons are open to kids aged between 4 and 8. For just £25 every child will receive 6 high - quality lessons (starting on Saturday 15th September) as well as a special Tennis for Kids Babolat racket, ball set, and personalised T-shirt.
