Beedies is a local, family run business established in 2007. We boast production of the highest quality timber buildings and summer bedding plants.

Beedies is based on South Ronaldsay, approximately 25 minutes from Kirkwall.

We boast the production of the highest quality, bespoke timber buildings and home-grown, hardy summer bedding plants.

The business established after showcasing a home-made timber garden shed at the Orkney Gardening Exhibition in May 2007. Ever since, Beedies have become a well known brand in Orkney for producing high quality timber buildings and summer bedding plants.

All timber buildings are manufactured on-site using only the best of materials which are sourced locally. We produce a vast array of items, from hobby hen houses to garages and summerhouses, all to individual customer preference and specifications. At Beedies, we boast the most robust and weather-suited buildings on the Orkney market.

Every year we grow many thousands of summer bedding plants in our custom-built nursery, supplying locals all over Orkney with hardy, durable bedding plants, from old-fashioned garden favourites to modern and colourful flowers.

Our workshop, nursery and office are based on-site at the family home on South Ronaldsay, where we are more than happy to invite you to explore the nursery in the summer and even see the buildings in production.
