The Grassmarket was really busy and I went into so many places asking for a disabled toilet! This had one and we sat and had a wine around a barrel. Lots of students and a younger crowd but it was lovely.

We only went there for drinks and football-watching. Bartenders are friendly, beer selection is good, DJ plays great 80's tunes, and people watching is amusing.

Good quality, fast service and relatively cheap. Drinks are absolutely extortionate. £4 for cola is my only complaint!

One of my favourite pubs in town, great atmosphere, great drinks and food. One of the classier drinking holes you'll find along grassmarket or old Town for that matter.
I've got to say it definitely has one of the best beer gardens in town, it's worth a visit for the garden alone, especially on a rare sunny day.

Nice pub with good food. Very busy during peak season, have to wait around to try and catch a seat. Big outdoor area. Self service. Slightly spoilt but the sheer number of people however they do really well to deliver good food at a reasonable rate considering this.

There's an upstairs dining area that is much quieter in the evenings than the pub. Typical pub food, good but nothing stands out.

Reasonably priced for the grassmarket. Good food, great beer garden out the back. Plenty of seating.

Pub itself is nice enough with a traditional Scottish decor, but without doubt THE best beer garden in Edinburgh.

Huge outdoor space set over multiple levels with patio heaters, large amount of chairs/tables and surrounded by trees traditional architecture.

Never ordered food but the menu had plenty to choose from and the other people's dishes looked appetising.

If you're in Edinburgh in the summer months it's definitely worth a visit.

Staff are over worked and rude. Food is average crap for city prices. Not too sure why people are giving it overrated reviews.
