Probably the quickest I have ever sewn a kilt, but pleased with the result! Realised my wee lad had outgrown his kilt before we went away for Hogmanay. Managed to order in the tartan and squeeze in making it around busy Christmas celebrations. I reckon it was about 2 days in total! The tartan is ‘spirit of Alva’, and it was sewn to the narrow stripe. No doubt he will need another one soon with the rate he is growing!!😂

Summer holiday/wedding offer!! £25 (usually £30) to have your kilt pleats re-basted and steam pressed! Will freshen and tidy up your kilt for any special occasion, or even just to hang in the wardrobe until you next need it. Offer only until the end of July. Book your kilt in via messenger, can usually be done within a couple of days!
So every summer in Scotland, many towns and villages have a special fete for the children. I’m proud to say that I come from Bo’ness where our ‘fair day’ is legendary!
Hand sewing the pleats! Invisible stitching and tailored shaping, that’s why a hand made kilt is something special. I filmed this a couple of weeks ago with every intention of editing it and putting a soundtrack over it, but I kinda like it this way, a true reflection of my sewing time. 😂
