Belted Burgers

Not bad but not great. Overpriced for what you get. Nothing special.

We were drawn into Belted for lunch by the "Basement Burger" listed on the specials board outside. Beers were a little less pricy than most of the places around and the beet fries were delicious and unique. The burgers were pretty dry and reminded us of a dry meatloaf...not surprising since you have to cook the burgers to all hell in Edinburgh (not the fault of Belted, but could be remedied with thinner patties). The Broast burger was fairly bland, but the toppings were really good on the Basement burger...but for a restaurant touring the quality of their meat, Tha should really be the star of the show.

Check your receipt!! Nice enough place, waitress was friendly, but completely stuffed up our order, didn’t have some things available, then significantly overcharged us. We had to send the bill back twice because it was wrong - the second time when we asked why we were being charged full price for kids milkshakes the waitress said it was because she stuffed up... yet clearly expected us to pay for it. Eventually when we told them how much it should be we were able to pay the correct amount. Plus the burgers were really dry and completely overpriced.

Cozy, contemporary atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Really delicious burgers with so much flavor! Excellent quality beef!

Ordered a gluten-free belted burger to take away. Burger meat was dry, no pickles on the burger, which was promised as part of meal.
Very little of the tasteless secret sauce. Overall, £10.45 for a burger and fries that was mediocre. I will pay this for real quality, but this was very poor value for money. Totally gutted as I was really looking forward to it.

Expected more from the burgers since they were a but bland to my taste but friendly and welcoming staff.

Describes itself as best burgers in all of Scotland. Definitely better options in town.

Good burgers and hilariously awesome "hardshakes" - alcoholic ice cream milkshakes. Open late and serving food at hours most other places don't. Recommended!

Nice burgers but they were overcooked and dry. The brioche buns were a nice touch although at a premium. The fries were good but too salty for my liking.
The interior is somewhat hit and miss. Nonetheless a good option for a burger when in the area.
