went for an early mothers day meal so thought wed give this a try, didnt expect much with it being a pub but we were proved soo wrong, the food was amazing ! high standard food at a low price couldnt fault them for anything and the staff were always willing to help

Went on New Years day to watch the Maverick Rejects, great lively crazy atmosphere and cheap beer, ticks all the boxes .

The ben is a good pub lovely food and lovely staff xxx

New to area popped in yesterday while waiting for missus to visit work outside looked like a weather spoons so took the plunge glad I did lady behind bar was so pleasant not sure she understood my Black Country accent lol had two pints of real ale very nice and reasonably priced to sat next to radiator as was cold out some good tunes on telly food smelt nice will be back for sure I will

I dont care what people think about jarra and the Ben i love the town and the boozer. Had the 8oz rump steak with chips peas mushrooms and onion rings. I asked for medium rare and couldn't fault it. As I went on a wed it was only £4.99. Amazing value.

Came here and had the southern fried chicken burger meal and this was the best burger i have EVER had from ANY pub, the portions were big and i still ate them!, compliments to the chef! (Gemma), and even better getting served with a smile off a lovely woman called sandra!, youve got some great staff here and some great food, will be coming back more often!

Not amazing like ! Hot Chocolate fudge cake was burnt and hard and covered up with masses of custard. Also ordered side of onion rings and revived chips instead. Staff sorted out the issues however did not seem too happy about it.

Was served fish finger sandwich first ever experience of one and wat an utter disgrace! Fish fingers were charcoaled and when we complained and sent them back the blonde girl behind the counter had a disgusting attitude!

The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because of the lovely member of staff a lady with dark hair
