LOST COLLIE - UPDATE MONDAY 29TH APRIL possible sighting 6.15pm in Benderloch, running up wee lane opposite St Modans by New Selma. Please can folk keep an eye out and contact CATH if sighted. She is a nervous dog so likely to bolt if approached by a stranger. CATH is in the area now. Long haired, tricoloured collie bitch named Joy. Timid, shy and spooked by strong winds, she has been missing for a few days now. Grateful for any assistance finding her. 0781 049 586

Q Are you open today/tomorrow/next Sunday? A Yes, we are open every day from now until the end of the season (October)
... Q Do you do breakfast? A Yes and no. We do filled rolls such as fried egg, bacon, scrambled egg but not a full breakfast …..that’s a sausage too far.
Q What time do you serve breakfast? A From 10am until 11:30am although we have been known to extend that until 11:31 for family or very, very close friends.
Q What time do you close? A Currently, (April) we open 10am-5pm but later in the season that will change to a later opening time 3 evenings a week.
Q Who’s the “grumpy old gentleman”? A Jimmy.
Q Who makes the scones? A Jimmy.
Q Has he won any prizes for them? A No but we’re willing to award him a merit badge for best raspberry scones within 100 mtrs of Campbell’s (pink shop).
Q Do you do sausages? A No.
Q Are you thinking of doing sausages? A No.
Q Do you allow dogs? A We welcome dogs at any of our outside tables as long as they endeavour to hoover up any crumbs that messy owners leave and don’t let their owners get overexcited. Unfortunately, some of our customers can turn nasty and get quite aggressive if dogs or strangers come inside the café so it’s best you keep your pooch out of harm’s way.
Q Are you doing pizzas yet? A Not until near to end of May (not enough staff until then)
Q Can we make a reservation? A You may, but it’s generally not necessary, except at particularly busy holiday times. However, we recommend making a reservation if you are a large party so that we can ensure that you are seated together. Telephone 01631720296

The nights are starting to draw in again so that means changes to our opening times. Please take note, folks, we are now open for pizzas only on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Ice on the patio, some snow still on the hills but at least the sun is shining so hopefully a not too bad weekend for our opening. We shall be open from tomorrow (Good Friday) until end of October or we win the lottery which ever comes first.
