The rooms are small but really cosy and the surrounding area is just beautiful.

A lodge-owned bar with all kind of beers and ciders is located right next to the cabins. The food for breakfast is delicious; typical Scottish dishes like black pudding and haggis are served.

For anybody who is not looking for a super luxury place to stay, but to be in a quiet and relaxing place close to nature, the lodge is highly recommended.

Stayed for two nights. Wish it could have been longer. Really relaxing place. Lovely food and very friendly staff. We will be back.

From Portland, Australia. Spent only one night there early September. Room was great. Meal in the bar was very nice and breakfast was excellent. Not a bad spot to spend a couple of days which I will do next time over there. Cheers.

This is at first sight quite a quirky bar with wood carvings of Scottish heroes and heroines, paintings, and kilts on the bar stools! But it is a lot more as the friendly staff serve delicious meals and are really welcoming. The resident musicians will strike up for a while most evenings but they don't dominate, for those who prefer to hold a conversation it's not an overly long performance and is quite enjoyable (if you are partial to a bit of folk/rock music). I can't comment on the accommodation but i do recommend the bar and i have returned several times and will do again. They also welcome dogs in the bar itself.

Scenery lovely when sitting in back decking area. Good selection on menu from snacks to full meals. Small chalets for walkers to stay overnight on West Highland way. Live music in bar. Board games and pool table . Laundry room available.

Late check in and early check out. The service was awful. We arrive at 13pm a rainy day and everything was close, a note on the door said that if we arrive early than 4pm (the check in time) knock on the caravans behind the hotel. We did it and the house keeper told us to come back later.
Everything was close on the village, we wait for three hours on the train station.
The service once we were in the lodge wasn't better. Rude people not friendly at all. Breakfast were ok until we realised that the cheapest sausages (cheap because of an early expire date) in the only store of the village, were the ones served for breakfast.
The room was nice because of the wood and the tartan clothing, no privacy and low warm water. The village is not more that two streets without people and just one store, but the surrounding trails and walks are stoning.
