Lovely purposeful hotel. We arrived after dark, checking in was very smooth and pleasant. Everything explained to us from, meal times and where to go, to pool opening times.

Had room service meal while watching rugby which was very good value for money. Room was large, and bathroom was good.. We were in the attached block on 1st floor, road side. Pool was lovely and clean and breakfast was excellent. Both of us Slept well, so a very good stay!

User

Just back from a night at the Ben Nevis hotel staff were excellent food was good great location clean and tidy room definitely go back cheers to Colin for looking after us

User

I have stayed here 7 times now and loved every time the buffet breakfast is vast and the evening meals very nice. My room is very comfortable and has everything I require this year the room has had new pvc windows fitted which can be covered by very heavy curtains giving you black out in daytime if you so desire. Leisure facilities are first class which I take full advantage of popping in a couple of times a day even using them when I arrived too early for check in and the staff are always helpful and polite. Already booked for November 2018

User

Great base hotel for travelling around the mid/north

west..... of the most beautiful part of the world....Breakfast was excellent .( eat as much as )..great staff ......clean and caring

User

Cathy and I stayed two nights here and it was perfect in every way. The staff were so attentive and friendly, even when the bar was so busy with the show last night. Nicki and her team looked after us well. I can see a return visit could happen!

User

The pool was a little chilly when entering but once going was fine not cold at all. The jacuzzi was great helped the feet after that long walk.the staff were all friendly to us as well the breakfasts were excellent. The only thing wrong was the plumbing needs looking at someone turned the shower on and all you could hear was a screeching sound.

User

Stay here for 2 lights the first Night on the 18th of Novenber and it was a very noisy place with children running wild on the lounge area and neither their parents or the management was keeping them under control we were looking forward to a quite weekend and we were unable to relax the staff in general were very nice and helpfull and the food was of a good standard the room was nice and clean. I believe all the noice children and guests were part of a christening function that was held in the Hotel but the Hotel management and staff should have said to the parents of the children to keep them under control and been a parent myself I understand that children need to play but in a public place like that when you try to relax is no good and a little consideration for other guests was needed I am also a retire Hotel Manager and I wouldn't allowed children to behave that way on my Hotel. On the 19th of November we had a lovely time with the use of the health club and very relaxing as no noisy children around.

Good value for money booked directly and got free WiFi and free use of the health club.

Would definitely be back but I would make sure that there aren't any functions in the Hotel for my next visit.

User

Just back from a 3 night stay check in staff very helpful room was lovely no complaints restaurant staff very nice as werecleaning and leisure staff they definitely know how to look after their guests if there was to be a negative I would say the dining room could have been warmer in the evening and do not have a problem with workmen staying at hotel but it was a bit off putting when the came into the dining room with their building site work clothes and boots covered with their days toil a suggestion maybe they could have an area for themselves where I’m sure they would feel more comfortable just a thought all in all lovely hotel definitely be back

User

Food was great, staff very friendly and helpful! Rooms a bit dated but comfortable

User

A great place to stay if touring Scotland and a big positive is the restaurant although always busy the service was of a very high standard.

User

The room above they were so noisy on the floor heard everything toilet flushing walking stomping didnt get a good night sleep from the noise. Service on the otherhand was good. Food good.

User

Staff were friendly and the pool and jaccuzzi were good but apart from that nothing too rave about .paid for superior room mountain view and too me I got a classic room .enquired about it but was told superior .bar was awful like sitting in a school dining area .staff did not know what garnish too put in the gin but yet they advertise all these lovely gins. Had better breakfast in a Wetherspoons. No taste too sausages .bacon too salty .says on menu staff will come and take your tea/coffee order and toast .would still be waiting another day .ended up going up and getting own .overall won't be back as seen better in area for less ..photos look nice when booking but it's not what your getting .

User

School groups using restaurant then showers in pool area is a joke. Wobbly tables in bar and if you don’t get in soon enough you won’t get a seat. Rooms need refurbished and extra electric sockets, placed where you need them. (Beside bed). No alarm clock and we were in a superior room with mountain view and bonus package. Beds were comfortable and breakfast good but has been better when local farmer used for sausage and bacon. A little overpriced.

User

Leisure facilities are a joke . Swimming pool freezing all the time and gym equipment is fit for the Flintstones. We pay plenty every month as members and the standards just keep dropping. When will these problems be sorted . We are told that management have been informed about the problems .

User

rooms need refurbished. and try and find a table in the bar that doesnt wobble like mad when your trying to eat your food........POOR

User

passed this place a few times and decided to phone and book a room for part of this trip, we were sold on a superior room with a mountain view premium rate of course, in reality the room was a classic twin with a view of the building, the water was freezing cold which after a day up the mountain isn’t what you want we enquired and were told to “wait because everyone is running the hot water” we tried that to no avail, at which point the “boiler had recently been re-done and were have problems” we were then offered another room with a mountain view and hot water (a big tree in front of the window still no mountain which given the location of the hotel was surprising) it was the wheelchair accessible room on the opposite side of the building with a wet room instead of a bath, by this time we had decided to grin and bare the cold water and non helpful attitude of reception staff as we were starving and it was getting late, the breakfast room in the morning was packed, milk and continental pastries etc had ran out and the kitchen, waiter and waitress were struggling to keep up with the capacity, this was not a comfortable stay at all and we highly considered moving lodgings instead of fulfilling the stay but everywhere was quite busy. Lots of far better places in the area also no feedback was taken at the end of our stay or I would of left this privately, I’m not usually so irritated I would leave an online review.

User

The membership each month is quite costly. The pool was always warm as were the showers...after a few weeks the pool is still freezing and the showers only luke warm ? Need to be fixed asap

User

Feel with the money we spend the facilities are not up to scratch. The pool is so cold it is not a pleasure to take children into it, the showers are lukewarm at best, the jacuzzi isn't working properly and people just generally are not happy! C'mon guys get it sorted!
