Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club

Room facilities very good. disappointed with restaurant as on previous visits there were table cloths on the tabless and full cutlery on table. Not this time, as sweets served and had to wait till spoons brought.

Not happy with our room. Damp and mould on walls. Can't have a bath as the enamel is chipped in 2 places. The bed is hard as nails and lastly our room is right next to the bar. So sleep evades us while other guests revel into the early hours. Not what you need after a 9 hour journey to get here.

Very nice hotel in lovely location. Not seen at its best as weather has been very wet but so many good walks in the vicinity. Food was good and plentiful. Service was very pleasant. Room very nice and clean

Room very dated and expensive. Staff grumpy on reception, was not made to feel welcome at all. Location of the hotel is nice but that's all we really liked about it.

The hotel is old and not very well maintained. Rooms are small and the bathroom is not so clean. It has a bar and a restaurant that close at 9pm no matter if your beer is not finished yet... Breakfast is included but is not so good.. pancakes were not well cooked and coffee was burnt. A good point is the swimming pool included in the price. Yeah, the price.. we spent 135€ for a small dirty room..

Very big hotel with long corridors. Somewhat dated and neglected, all with a musty air. We paid twice as much per night for our room as we've been paying for B&B further north and expected something special. The only good thing is the swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi. There is also a gym. Food not bad. The view of Ben Nevis would be nice without the busy road and garages in between.

For the price we got it at, it is good value. However I do feel hotel could do with modernising a bit.

It's fine. Very 1970s though, and the parking is atrocious. Staff are nice and the room is clean enough.

My room was in the secondary building next to the main hotel. It was very clean and had obviously been newly refurbished. Lovely room with brand new bathroom and pretty views of the foothills. Very reasonable rates which included breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

All about location Location - my room is compact - bathroom is to be honest below standard - no wifi in room - bit below par from my room point of view. Staying on business and for business travellers not quite up to required standard for what you need when working away. Shame really as good location and if they had invested in the rooms rather than the pool / Gym type angle then would be higher ranking.
