Best fish and chips i have had in a long time, bbq chicken kebab was gorgeous too. Absolutely brilliant chip shop. Food is always hot and well worth the wait. Good job Bene's x

Great chippie! Food is always good and cooked fresh to order. Everything from pizza and kebabs to traditional chip shop fare. Staff are lovely. Best chips for miles around.

Doesn’t even deserve the one star. Go in and they handle both the money with bare hands and then has direct contact with food with bare hands, disgusting! Food isn’t great and the attitude of those behind the counter also not great. Worst chippy i’ve ever had and seriously don’t recommend. Do not go here.

The fish and chips are great. The lamb shish also I always have a large portion. We have a takeaway every friday. Recommended.

Pretty average and probably wont be back. Last couple of times i've been here greasy fish and very dry chips. Better chippies on offer further up the coast-road e.g Alandas at Prestonpans.

Ordered onion rings. Disgusting!! Soggy and were frozen ones (tiny) about 12 in portion. And 3.20 . Was expecting the big onion rings in chippy batter. Won't order again

Nice food and reasonably priced. Can be a bit of a wait, but the food is fresh and good quality which more than makes up for it!

Worst fish and chip shop I've been to,ordered a fried pizza and it was cremated chips were soggy definitely won't be back

Great customer service even though an item was mossing from my just eat order ad soon as i phoned they resolved the issue straight away and even sent extra items as a thank you. Amazing. Would definitely order again.

One star is more than enough, Worst customer service from the woman that served us, snatched the money from my hand then made smart sly comments as we asked for a bag, the food was average, will not be back and definitely won't be recommending
