Our latest efforts on our Restoration Defender has been to assemble the Differentials and suspension to the chassis. As you can see the contrast of Silvers and black really looks good, hopefully we can push through this project and complete it within the next few months.

With the front of our Defender restoration completely stripped down, we've been able to clear away as much of the pesky waxoyl as humanly possible and given the bulk head a clean fresh lick of paint. It turned out even better than we had been able to predict, I'm looking forward to starting to put it back together.

A large part of restoration is ensuring that you can save and re-use as many of the original parts that you have available. Its due to this that we have been thoroughly cleaning up and painting a large selection of the brackets and spacers so that they're in great condition to use again.

Finally we are done with our favourite Chassis Defender! After months upon months of hard work and extreme frustration we have been able to get this job MOT ready and safe to drive again. Although its been a lot of fun to work on, I'll be glad to see this car gone and on the road.

One of our closing chapters of Chassis Chaos (hopefully), we start pulling the body together and start making this look like a car again, our deadline is looming forward so we continue to work hard at finishing this job!

Something a little different today! This Specialist Defender Campervan is equipped with in inbuilt shower and bathroom, sleeping quarters and a roof that rises, to give that essential head room. Used to tour Europe keep your eyes out for such a rare Defender!

As shooting season gets closer, we've renewed our efforts to finish off our Chassis Chaos Defender. After connecting both the Body and the Chassis we started connecting everything back together, bolt by bolt. Hopefully without any complications we are on the path to completion with this Project!

After finally having the room and opportunity welding has commenced on the body of this Defender giving it a clean new look and reinforcing the car.

More work on our favourite Chassis this week as we connect the back axel and lift the engine in, after connecting it to the mounts we can rework the break pipes and start rebuilding until the car works fully again!

Part three of the Chassis Chaos! After carefully removing the engine and gearbox we were able to start work on transplanting the Axles over to the new chassis, although pestered by rust and rot we were able to salvage most things and add some fresh nuts and bolts!

Part two of our Defender Project! After struggling against rust to get the body off, we were able to carefully lift it into the air ready to transplant to the new galvanized frame.

Our latest project: This Defender 110 is in need of a new chassis but it means cleaning up the entire car in preparation, even if it means we will find more rust damage than anticipated. As you can see here the Chassis was getting close to snapping altogether!
