Bit of a change from bread... Trialing the cake for the bottom layer of my sister’s wedding cake that me and @amysbakes_uk are baking in September. This layer is based on @livforcake’s glorious sticky toffee pudding cake which does exactly what it says on the tin, the icing she pairs it with is a Swiss meringue buttercream. Put the black sesame seed inside the loaf this time rather than just coating the crust. I’d forgotten how much I enjoy the flavour of sesame with bread when I baked my last batch.
