About Me
My name is Lindsay MacPhee and my little company is called Berry Beautiful.
I have been sewing and making things since I was about seven years old, so, quite a long time.
When I first moved to Dumfries in 2002, I worked in an office and a young man asked me to make him an Elvis outfit. In the end I made him two outfits and he loved them. I changed jobs and again it became known that I sewed, and I was asked to make various unusual gifts.
About four years ago, a family member suggested that I set up a little business and sell my wares. My son then came up with the name Berry Beautiful and that was the start.
Since then, I have sold my creations at various Craft Fairs and Farmers' Markets and the next step is my website.
I still have a day job, although I am part-time, and I find sewing very therapeutic. It also keeps me out of mischief, at least for a short time.
