You have probably heard, or seen that we are hosting a charity event on Friday the 25th of October. The event is in aid of Simpson’s Special Care Baby Unit, being held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
We are hoping to raise funds to help with the planned refurbishment project in the Neonatal unit, which is much needed despite the staffs hard work to make this as comfortable as it can be. In turn, this will hopefully help the long days that parents and carers spen...d, often alone in the unit with their babies. Having a place simply to make a cup of tea or having a private place to reflect is vital when considering the parent or carers mental health. These little changes will make all the difference.
Come and join us on Friday, for a night of entertainment, guest speakers, raffles and auctions, and of course a little disco too. Bring your dancing shoes! We hope to see you all there!
