Best Western Buchanan Arms Hotel & Spa

I was in for a quick drink after asking speaking to Reception staff about specific requirements for a forthcoming hotel room reservation. The Reception was extremely helpful in addressing my needs. The bar is geared more at hotel residents and is not one I would choose to pip into. I think it must also be about the most expensive for a beer in Drymen

This was by far the most disappointing hotel on our whole trip as far as the room goes. Bed was stiff and springy. Room could have had a better vacuum. the pool looked great but had closed before we could get in. breakfast buffet was fine, enjoyed the haggis.

We loved it here Def be back! Staff very upbeat.. Pool.. Jacuzzi.. Steam room refreshing.. Dinner was beautiful I had butterfly chicken.. Breakfast lovely but tottie scones bit tough and haggis a bit crumblie.. But that would being fussy.. Yes there's midges outside.. It's Scotland lol I seen other reviews.. And a woman complaining about a dash of lemonade costing 65p.. Silly really when the hotel is full of character and has a brilliant gym.. Pool and quaint little village surrounding it with a few pubs and shops..i loved the hotel.. There was shampoo etc for guests and cleaners who Bob about with pink tunics bend over backwards for all your needs.. In fact the cleaners where amazing!! 2 nights and I can say we can't wait to go back. Wedding was on but as far as I'm aware dj didn't show so I can't comment on noise.. But we wouldve joined in anyway.. Thumbs up from us!!

Overall a good sleep, close by to our venue. Unfortunately the check in process wasn't incredibly smooth and there was a lack of vegan options for breakfast even after booking ahead of time and letting them know. The shower only had one temperature (boiling hot) but at least it wasn't cold. The bed however was incredibly comfortable.

We have been loyal and regular customers for many years and are sad to witness this hotel going downhill.There is no evidence or manangement or leadership. This is a probable factor in the deterioration in standards of the customer service.To witness couple on ddb offer informed they could only have soup and sandwitches was one example.Factor was wedding took 1st place .which also resulted party noise until 3 am in the morning. Outside hotel.

Delightful hotel with plenty of character. Splendid little village filled with lovely people. Room was well presented and have nothing negative to remark. Service was mediocre as I didn't appreciate flippant jokes from staff after a long drive. However the pool and sauna are lovely to unwind in. Its somewhere i'd like to visit again.

Check-in was not possible before 5pm (booked 3pm check-in), unfriendly staff on reception and bar. Room was in the rear of the house and had no wifi (didn’t change anything as the connection speed in the lobby was very very bad as well). Spa was okay, but don’t go there before 7.30 as they are screaming kids there before (relaxing not possible)

Having out wedding in October this year and I must say they have been nothing short of amazing so fat. Tried our menu and it was the best food ever!!!!! The rooms and facilities look amazing so we are looking forward to trying them in October.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly the room was in desperate need of refurbishment room 18. We have stayed in this hotel many times but sadly thus time we were very dissapointed with the standard of our roon

An excellent hotel. Warm and comfortable bedrooms. A super full Scottish Breakfast is available with haggis as an option! Very good spa and pool.

Here for two nightnights. Place is spotless. Very well run and organised. Lovely wee swimming pool and sauna and steam room. Very tastefully decorated. Nice wee bar and communal lounge area. Friendly welcoming staff. Would highly recommend this place. Love it.

Stayed here a few times now. Lovely hotel in a perfect location for the local town and for exploring loch lomond. The rooms are a great size, although beware that a few of the cheapest rooms are cheap for a reason...they are tiny, but still fine for a few nights away. Great food in the restaurant and the staff are very welcoming. The bar is small but has a good selection of beer and wine. The spa is surprisingly big and the pool is a decent size. Great place for a relaxing break.

Hotel and facilities were excellent would definitely recommend had a great time
