This is true family teamwork! Mum and son just knuckling down and getting it done. When you get hit with a team challenge that seems impossible, you don't give up, you tackle it together one bit at a time! Hard session tonight but you all smashed it πŸ˜‰

This shouldn't be a thing, this shouldn't be newsworthy, this should be everyday and so common nobody raises an eye. But until that day we'll keep celebrating it. Bravo sir.

... Emma participates in a family session every week with her two sons, sometimes two of their friends and her husband. By doing this Emma strengthens her family bond, teaches healthy habits, engages in low cost family activity, however, the kids don't care about any of that as they are too busy having fun ❀ See you Monday Smiffs πŸ˜‚

And this also happened today!! Not content on flipping the little tyre the crazy crew moved onto the monster one!! Sooooo proud of this! They worked as a team, got the timing right, got the squats low and just lifted! Are 2 right through to 11 encouraging each other and working together to make this happen. Well done πŸ‘πŸ˜

Such an incredible video. A fantastic way to address the low mood and social isolation that comes too often with dementia.
Children don't care about diagnosis, they just see the person.
What do you think Dundee, do we need a full on intergenerational centre?

Happy to announce at long last the Better:Gen intergenerational choir is happening. Starting Tuesday September 11th at 1330 - 1500 at the Circle Dundee. I'm more than happy to hear from anybody who's keen to get involved. Special thanks to Ed Muirhead (http://facemusic.co.uk/) who's leading the sessions.

What an morning! I took part in the Founders Stories Breakfast this morning at The Circle. It is part of their Resilient Communities Programme. You can watch this morning's breakfast on Instagram & Facebook.

This is great! Have been working with Lynn for a few weeks now, with my crazies and more recently as a family and she is just incredible. So genuine and so dedicated to helping others! I really hope her wee business continues to go from strength to strength! Great job οΏ½

Lynn is an amazing lady full of positive energy and enthusiasm. Her classes are absolutely brilliant. Full of power, laugh, love and movements. Better:Gen is something to look forward. Something with the future.

I hate going to the gym but I love going to the Better:Gen Centre at the Circle to do circuits with Lynn. Lynn is fun, motivating and extremely knowledgeable. I would much rather spend money on fitness with Lynn than the usual health clubs because I know it is helping support the great work she does for the community. Her commitment to opening up her gym to people with disabilities who would usually be excluded from opportunities is personally very inspiring and relevant to me.

Founders Lynn and Andrew Warren have both committed their passion, energy in to the creation of Better:Gen - a health and wellness centre that provides a range of fun fitness and memory enhancement programmes for those who would not normally attend mainstream gyms.

My mum, 70 years young, is looking forward to attending the Betterlife programme at Better:Gen Centre. As a daughter you want only the best for your parents, she is getting to an age where she is concerned about her body and mind- mental fitness is very important to her and I know this will be enhanced with this unique programme - she's really excited οΏ½and I'm so grateful for this service.

If you've not already met Lynn and Andrew they are the most welcoming and genuine couple, they combine a total of over 40 years in the professions of medical/mental health and fitness/wellbeing, having spent time with both, be assured that that you are in good, safe hands.
