Beyond Events

El Paseo or The ride as it translates to is a Sportive that will follow parts of two stages of the 2018 La vuelta de españa in the Cantabrian mountains, northern spain.
This ride will be in the area of Spain known as "Green Spain" (España Verde) on account of the oceanic climate will include climbs on the northern slopes of the Cantabrian mountains.
With two route options of a short of approx 35 miles and a longer 70 miles, the event will be a relaxed ride in places you would...n't normal get to ride in, The hills are real tests but the ride is just a stunning day in the saddle and following 73 years of La vuelta history.
Northern spain has some amazing beaches, which is home to some of the worlds best surf, make it a long weekend of holiday to remember, and ride in the footsteps of heroes.

A relaxed yet stunning sportive around the Somerset levels, this fun ride is about taking your time, enjoying the views and just getting in some early season miles. Mostly on the flat somerset levels, with limited traffic, the three route options have a very good mix of beautiful countryside and unspoiled views. The Long and medium routes include a climb up and through cheddar gorge it’s a short, sharp test which forms part of the 2018 Tour of Bri...tain.

The Bridport Dagger now in its fourth year and still one of the toughest most challenging yet visually stunning cycle Sportives in the South West, the short route is a more casual ride.
This beautiful and stunning tour around the Dorset countryside is about taking your time, taking in the views and just enjoying the ride, it has lots of long running straights away from large amounts of traffic where you can "Peleton" if that's your thing, we have climbs, some tough, some not so, all on strava (Tut tut), and then there are country lanes with stunning views that go for miles, above all remember its a sportive and not a race, your supposed to enjoy it and have fun.
With three route choices of 32, 62 and 100 miles with up-to three feed stations dependent on your route choice, come and join what is a relaxed enjoyable day in the saddle.

Confirmation that the Bridport triathlon 2019 will be based at Bridport leisure centre, with Supersprint or try a tri and a sprint, with also a Duathlon , details will appear on the link or via our web-page in due course, but with hopefully the west Bay triathlon sea swim returning in 2019 also, all options are open.

The results from the Bridport 5 km and 10 km are now live on our webpage, as is the event for 2019 which will now be the Bridport Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km, the Half will be testing, but you have a year to train and be ready.
We also have the Beaminster 5km and 10km on August 12th for those that are interested.

Returning in 2019 the 5 km, 10 km and new Half Marathon (For 2019) run will all start and finish on the western edge of Bridport, at St Marys field Just behind Bridport football club. (And this is the main parking location)
The half marathon route will head out to Symondsbury along West Road, before heading through the beautiful village itself onto Broadoak before we head for Salway ash and then back to Pymore, being a longer distance there are a few more hills, but once we l...ink up with the 10 km course its back to flat, however there are Stunning Dorset villages, wide open countryside, and a few little hills.
The 10 km route follows lots of pathways and cycle paths and its a safe, scenic route around Bridport Town, passing through Skilling, St Swithens, Pymore, Bradpole, St Andrews road and parts of Bridport town itself, with great support from the local community along the route, with lots of places for friends and family to support you as you run. Some runners broke PB's in 2018 and we hope for the same sunny conditions.
The 5 km route follows a nice safe route along the river Brit and the parks in and around the football club, there is no time barrier so if your new to running, not sure about the 10 km or just want to run with your children (as always they run for free but must be accompanied by an adult), then join us for what is sure to be another great a spectacle.

We are encouraging people to raise funds for FIGHT BACK MENTAL HEALTH. The group engage people who use the mental health service, carer's, friends, family and people who would just like better understanding of mental health, they cover Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth, and all the surrounding areas in between.

April 28th 2019 - 0900 - 1430
This trail running event along the Jurassic coast starting at Marsh barn (West Bay) returns in 2019 for the fourth year.
The 5km will wind its way along the Jurassic coast path through Bridport and West Dorset Golf club and down to Freshwater Holiday park, before returning to West Bay.... The 10km will follow the same route but heads out further to Burton Bradstock and then heads for West Bay along the coast path. The 21 km will head further out along the Jurassic coast and half the route will be with sea views (A change to the 2018 route), just one continuous 13.1 mile run. We are for 2019 also adding a full marathon distance trail run, and earlier start time of 0900 but no cut off, take your time and enjoy the day and your running
Strictly limited to 500 places.(All routes)
With a late registration of 09.00 - 10.45 and a start time of 11am, have a lie in then come and test yourself along the Jurassic cliffs.
Registration for the marathon will be 0800 - 0855 and a start of 0900
