BID4OBAN is committed to supporting a robust and successful Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in the west coast town of Oban.

BID4Oban Ltd was established on 31 October 2012 to deliver the projects contained within the Oban BID Business Plan amounting to an investment of nearly £1million into the local economy. The Business Plan was voted for by a resounding majority of business (90% ) that voted in a ballot which closed on 5 October 2012.
The Business Plan's 6 main objectives are to :
*Make the best first impression possible to visitors and shoppers to the town by helping provide a more attractive environment
*Co-ordinate a managed programme of events and festivals throughout the year
*Increase the number of new events in the town which will extend the season
*Maximise our assets and attract more shoppers to the town
*Bring businesses together to help reduce business costs and act as an effective business lobbying body
*Improve accessibility and parking within the town for visitors by care or on foot.
