Fine venue to play a little acoustic set in. Will need to come back another time to fully sample the wares but nice friendly atmosphere.

Cracking day before and after the football. Looks bigger than when Boundary Bar/City Limits as back- part of the bar has been opened up. Decent selection of beers, and the house draft (Berliners Pils) is a nice pint. 👍🍺🍺🍺👍

Brilliant Leith pub with a very impressive range of beers but can still get a house pint for a decent price too.

Absolute gem of a place, we will definately be back when visiting Edinburgh again. Great friendly bar staff, fab range of beers and unexpected cocktails, live music. Without doubt the best bar I have visited in a long time. In short a cut above the normal.

A most enjoyable night...house lager is tasty, bangers are bangin', sterling bar staff and oh! the music therein barely dropped a stitch all night. A good night out indeed!

Really love this place and have made it my new local. Great to see a place with a good student beer, an excellent selection of German biers and delicious food. I would say that it would be great if they expanded their menu slight to have some more German food, and lately the wifi has not been reliable. However they always have a friendly atmosphere and have frequent live music (and when there is no live music, the music they play is always good).

Lots of different beers to try& some food in offer too! Seems like a nice friendly bar! Staff helpful & cheery!

I'd go back for the beer and the place itself. Great location! Shame about the food. If you put currywurst on the menue it should be currywurst, not a boiled sausage in a soft bun. Same for bratwurst. Or sauerkraut and other accompanies.
