Big Dog Miniatures is a high quality painting, conversion and modelling service for all sci-fi and fantasy miniatures.

I have over 25 years experience in the wargaming hobby, starting initially with Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer 40K and Blood Bowl. During this period I have developed my painting and modelling skills and taken part in several Warhammer and Warhammer 40K tournaments. My armies at these events always featured a number of conversions and scored top tournament points for my painting.

Since my initial attempts at miniature painting, real life appears to have caught up with me at last and I now find that being a married man with two very active kids and a full time job working shifts means that I no longer get the opportunities to play that I did in my youth.

However, I do still enjoy painting and modelling miniatures look for new opportunities to push my abilities. I have decided to use the skills I have developed over the years to offer commission miniature painting services

Whilst I am actively looking to take on commissions, please be aware that I am not an army painter. Grinding out massed ranks of quickly painted, identical troops is not my forte.
