We went today (our first time) and loved it. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. Thankfully we went just as it opened at 12 so we got a table no problem and didn't need to wait long in the queues for food/drink, we left about 2.30pm and it was getting pretty busy. We will defo be back. Xxx

User

Was there for the first time on Saturday, all the food I tried was amazing! The guy playing guitar and singing was great, a really chilled, cool vibe. Defo going back...

User

So visited today and managed to to try:

Duck - Duck & Fries, As I posted on there page it was brilliant to finally get a meal in which looked exactly as it does in the photos, Duck was Aromatic and Cooked perfectly, Chips where Crispy and seasoned to perfection, Toppings where crisp and fresh with generous lashings of Sweet, Moorish Hoisin Sauce. Absolutely delighted with this and at £6 its a total bargain, big enough for one person but great to share with a friend to sample. They should be a permanent feature at The Big Feed.

Burrito Guys in The Corner - ( forgot the name ) Honestly, Best burrito I’ve tried in ages. With most generous service of delicious pulled Perth brisket made a delicious and filling meal for £6.

Shrimpwreck - I was totally let down with today after reading so many good reviews, 4 Oily Shrimp on top of a shaving of bacon and a very acidic mayonnaise sitting on what could only be described as a morning roll. Was not worth £6.50 at all, the Shrimp came out the fryer and straight on the bun. O seasoning no extra mile not lemon juice on the prawns just put on the roll. Hopefully just having a bad day.

The Summer Pantry - Absolutely amazing cakes, Red Velvet Cake was amazingly moist, The butter cream was thick and firm and not overly sweet. Mint Chocolate was delicious, peppermint frosting reminded me so much of Mint Slice cake and could have easily eaten more!

Will be back for sure!

Seating was a bit chaotic, more smaller tables as people sat in the middle of longer ones which made it uncomfortable to sit next to them as they where eating.

User

Myself & my other half absolutely loved this. The atmosphere was fantastic, live music in the background, going back n forth as we pleased to share different foods. Very quirky & laid back. I understand people in some reviews saying they were freezing but tbh, its held in an otherwise unused warehouse with big ole high ceilings. Its obviously never gonna be cosy restaurant quality but its not meant to be, its street food cooking minus our typical Scottish rain/snow/hail situ!! Very relaxing day & saw groups of friends, families, folk popping in with their mutleys. £2 to enter was very reasonable & we will DEFO be back!

User

Love this place! Always try something different when I manage to get along. All the people working on the vans and food stalls are so friendly and polite. Been a few times before but took my daughter (7) along for the first time tonight (at her request) and she loved it, came away with her face painted, a glitter tattoo and a balloon of a rose all for £6 by rainbow twisters!! keep up the good work guys!!

User

It was fab, the music and food was good. Atmosphere amazing. And I tried churros for the first time. For people moaning about lack of veggie options and vendors running low on stock get there earlier! Loved it and will definitely become regulars x

User

Had such a great day here yesterday!! All the food we tried was amazing! The drinks were fantastic and every vendor or staff member we encountered couldn't have been nicer!! Especially the two gents at the coffee cart!! If you love food this is definitely a fantastic day out!! But wrap up because your literally in a warehouse in Glasgow and it's not warm! Oh and the live entertainment was brilliant! And the music inbetween was fab!

We will most definitely be back!!!!

User

Great selection of proper street food, hot and really tasty. Octopus dumplings, Japanese chicken, courgette, duck, arancini- all divine. Fab coffee and cake too! Lots of well-dressed dogs and families with kids all having a great time. Music was brilliant. Will definitely go back and will leave the car behind next time. Prosecco and espresso martinis too hard to resist, and the rum coffee...

User

Great day out! A great venue to enjoy a fantastic selection of fresh street food as well as a good choice of drinks. Also it’s good that it’s doggy friendly now. I’ll definitely be going back.

User

First time we had been and hubby, daughter and I loved it. The food was brilliant and loved the atmosphere too. It was great wondering round looking at all the options and variety. Can't wait for the next one.

User

First time visit. 6 adults 4 young kids. Brilliant food and the kids enjoyed it too. Really good shout for adults to get out with wee ones, get some great food without the stress of worrying if the kids are going to sit for a full restaurant meal. We were there for 3-4 hrs. Lots of other parents and wee ones there. Face painting and balloons were great value. Advice would be to get there sharp and bring cash. Be aware... It’s not the cheapest but everything you eat is really bloody good. You could easily go for a £100 meal and come away without having eaten anything as tasty as you would here. Extra points for lovely staff. Will def be back.

User

Been along to this 3 or 4 times now and every time we have had a great time, that was even with a toddler but he’s a gem in most situations.

We have eaten at a lot of the vendors and those we haven’t we look forward to. The shrimp guys when they are there are phenomenal. Another vendor who does the aromatic duck was also amazing. There is also and epic wee truck for coffees who do these amazing espresso Martinis

Remember though, this is a bunch of street food vendors in a massive shed, in Scotland. It’s not going to be warm in winter. It’s also a really popular event so get there early on a Saturday or go on Sunday when it’s quieter. We have never had an issue getting the food we want but if we go on a Saturday we arrive early, realise it’s busy and split up to get what we want and meet back up at the seating area.

The live music is also great as well. Not heard a bad musician. Also the music after and between the musicians is also good.

I’ve read a few reviews on here of people complaining about x y and z but it’s not justified. To those people I say -

1. Arrive earlier on a Saturday or go on Sunday.

2. Remember it’s street food vendors. It’s not a restaurant so with the popularity vendors might run out of food quickly.

3. If you’re vegan or vegetarian don’t whine if there isn’t food for you. You make up less than 1% and 2% of the population of the UK respectively so excuse the vendors if they cater for the absolute majority.

4. Manage your own expectations.

5. Stop whining (insert Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)

User

Absolutely loved it. Got there about 1, loads of delicious food and drinks available!

Really vegan friendly (faceplant food is to die for - mac & cheese )

Vendors where all so friendly and the cocktails on point.

Best churros I’ve had!

Can’t wait for the next one, such a good idea!

User

Good Leisurely Sunday Day out, undercover so even better especially with our nice Scottish climate. Food varied, drinkies too, lovely, liked the quirkiness with all the different looking stalls. Not ideal for families with a lot of kids, cheapest burger about £6 but kids under 10 get free entry. Did notice that one of the vegan stalls had no queues and the food looked great! Would definitely go back!

User

Fantastic food, a great atmosphere, music, kids, dogs welcome and you can have a drink too. Loved the place! Quite warm inside so don't overdress.

User

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere would defo come back again. Only thing that I didn’t like was the amount of dogs. Witnessed a dog that kept climbing onto a couple of strangers sitting at a table trying to eat, whilst the owners paid no attention to the dog.

User

Great event but almost all the food I had was disappointing. Dry stale flat bread, overcooked dry chicken and almost everything was a bit bland due to a lack of seasoning. You would hope that the vendors would taste their food before serving. These guys you would hope are food experts!

User

First time here, atmosphere was great and variety of food also good.

Only problem was getting some as 3 of the vendors I fancied had 1 staff member on and queues were significant with one stall giving numbers to come back in 20 mins.

Could have been staffed better and would have made it a more enjoyable experience.

User

Today we went to the big feed and yes the food was good but it was FREEZING! We had children with us so had to leave as it was too cold for them and noticed others leaving for the same reason.

The temperature made it very uncomfortable to sit and eat so we ended up taking food to go. Felt awful for the staff having to endure those working conditions. Surely you could supply heaters!?
