We had a fabulous holiday at Big Sky, the lodge exceeded our expectations and it was a fantastic base for our week away. We travelled near and far, fantastic walking, waterfalls with salmon leaping, beaches, lochs, good food and Minger cheese! Many evenings spent next to the fire pit, exploring the woods and enjoying family time.
There aren't words to properly explain what a stay at this place does for the soul. In a week we've rested & explored in equal amounts. We feel like we've been away for weeks! Such a wonderful way to support a family business, getting an excellent & memorable holiday in return. The proprietors are kind & thoughtful- always there if you need any suggestion how to spend your time & will leave you alone if you would rather. Heaven on earth really - sad to have left those views behind
Wooden lodges for weekly hire just outside Muir Of Ord near Inverness. Well equipped and cosy lodges sleeping up to 6. Ideally located for Highlands and day trips around north of Scotland.
such a beautiful area, completed with a view of the amazing highland cows every morning :) the cabin was beautiful, very homey and comfortable! Would definitely recommend to stay here if planning a trip to this area!!!

Really nice, good quality accommodation in a convenient location for day trips. Nice forest walk on the doorstep and 20 minutes from Inverness. One of a few accomadation we have visited twice.
Lovely lodges, everything you need and a log fire for cosy nights in. Is so quiet yet only a short drive from Inverness. A great place to base yourself as you explore the amazing highlands.
Over priced for quality of cabins and the view is poor
