Big Tree Campervans

Big Tree Campervans were the perfect choice for our first campervanning trip. Simon gave us a very thorough walk-around our van before we set off and plenty of other helpful advice besides. The van was ideal for exploring the Scottish Highlands and had everything we needed. We would thoroughly recommend!

We truly had a blast on our holyday in Scotland and a big part of that was the Campervan we hired form Big tree campervans. The ease of driving around, being able to make the bed in seconds after a long hike and being able to cook all the food we wanted was amazing.

Even better, Simon gave us so many great tips suited to our adventure needs. The best wild camping spots we found were recommended by him, the same goes for the best camping sites. But it all started with a very informative and transparent website (that is also very well designed!). By reading the website we could already see that Big tree campervans puts it’s costumers first and that it’s important to the team that their costumers know what is and isn’t included in the hire. Everything was very transparent, we had no worries about insurance and those things because of that.
When we had the privilege to connect through email, over the phone and in person the experience only got better.

It’s rare to find such excellent service in the campervan/car hire business. Simon and Sarah have so much passion for what they do and it shows in every part of their business. We loved that we could connect with them personally and that they provided a very personalized service to help us make our trip the best it could be.

We always try to support family-run and local business, but we never had an experience quite like this one. We recommend that you will hire one of their wonderful vans, I reckon that you will not be disappointed. To me the Big Tree Campervan team is the best in their business!

Excellent service from Big Tree, friendly and efficient. The campervans are very comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our three week trip around the Highlands including the stunning views from Durness campsite, amazing scenery at Applecross, the Coigach peninsula, and a fantastic campsite at Kinloch on Skye.

We had an excellent trip with the help of the folks at Big Tree Campervans. They were always easy to get a hold of, professional, and were flexible and helpful with everything.

Fantastic Campervan... We stayed in larch for a few nights and it was perfect for the 2 of us. Handover from Sarah was great and I didn't want to give the van back!! Will definitely be booking again next year for another trip to Scotland.

5 star for a reason- we rented for three days and we were given a brand new campervan- Simon ensured we had everything we needed before heading off- . The van is well kitted out - we headed up north...the van is a good size for exploring the north of Scotland- very comfortable- we will definitely rent from Simon again

We chose Big Tree Campervans for our trip because we felt they were a smaller, personal, family run business that would deliver good results. We were right in choosing Simon and Sarah's business. We rented one of their vans (Holly) for 6 days in the end of November and beginning of December. They were great about picking us up from the airport and dropping us off at the end of our trip. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The van itself was great and had everything we needed. All we brought was our clothes and hiking gear. We were able to tour the East Coast of Scotland, into the Cairngorm Mountains and then down through Glen Coe with Holly and didn't have any problems. We saved money by renting the van as we had a vehicle and a place to stay all in one. We also loved the freedom of being able to stop anywhere a spend a night either in a caravan park or wild camp. I would highly recommend using Big Tree Campervans if you are planning a trip in Scotland soon. We are already planning our next trip. Thanks again to the wonderful people who made our trip fantastic!
