It is with sadness that we have received news of the death of Lt. Cmdr. Iain Robinson RN on New Year’s Day 2020 in Australia. Iain became Managing Director of Biggars after the retiral of his uncle, Alex Biggar, in the 1970’s. Some of our most long-standing customers and former staff may well remember him. He and his wife, Bev, had been in touch recently through social media and we were delighted to hear from them. Iain was very much part of the continuing Biggars story and those of us who have in some way been privileged to be part of Biggars, owe Iain our gratitude for his part in ensuring the longevity of his family’s name in Glasgow music history. Iain is survived by wife Bev, daughter Juliette, sons Alasdair, Jamie & Neil, six grandchildren and his sister, Joy. We send them our love at this sad time.

Wishing our team member Pete all the very best as he embarks on an epic adventure. He’s away for the next few months with Gerry Cinnamon as they tour the arenas in Great Britain and then head to Australia with Liam Gallagher. Good luck Pete!
