Dear customers,friends and family. Unfortunately current market situation in granite city has been harsh for many and now it reached us. Effectively as of today,we will not be operating at all and Bigos Polish Cuisine is shut down on permanent basis. We would like to thank all of you who joined us within last year for great company,custom and hopefully enjoyable experience. It's been a pleasure meeting and serving all and each of you! Went there yesterday evening for a meal and it was SUPERB! Fantastic food (maybe shouldn't have had the strong beer, but it was really nice) and great staff. Definitely be back soon.

We really enjoyed our meal here last night. Food was delicious, service was so friendly and received a recommendation for one of their black cherry vodkas which was really tasty. Will most definitely be back!

Thanks for an amazing dinner last night, what a great way to celebrate my 30th birthday. Was there with my bf last night neither of us tried polish food before but was amazing. And we didn't just get good service, we got hospitality. We (and the other tables) were all personally looked after with warmth and care. Highly recommended. Thanks again

Really enjoyed my first visit to Bigos last night - lovely restaurant, fantastic service and wonderful, hearty polish food. Looking forward to going back soon.

Our second visit and already planning to return! The food was fantastic and I enjoyed working my way through their selection of Polish meads. Attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. A really good evening.

Loved this place tonight - tasty pierogi for starters then traditional pork cutlet for me while Lee enjoyed the bigos served in a crusty loaf. Finished off with a home made chocolate cake with peanut butter icecream. Worked our way through various flavoured vodkas and liqueurs - what a great selection! Marcin and his family and staff were great hosts - we'll definitely be back again......and again!

I'm so happy I discovered this place with my boyfriend.



Not only did it make me feel like I'm back at home, but the food has been a a solid 10! While the service was great and lovely.



A very welcoming experience, with my boyfriend who is British agreeing so as the service made sure to adapt to the British culture just as much as they were bringing out the Polish culture! Definitely will be back!:)

I would highly recommend Bigos Polish Restaurant to anyone who wants to try traditional Polish Cuisine. The food looks and tastes amazing! Great service too!! Brilliant!!

Broccoli and Stilton soup was best I have had. Pan fried cod was in one word amazing everything on the plate complimented each other well. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing birthday meal for 12(including one vegan meal) at Bigos last night. We really enjoyed the food, one of my friends even said "this is the best chicken I have ever had in my life".

I am really happy I chose this restaurant.

To be honest I didn't feel very welcomed at the place. The food, I don't know about the mains, but we tried all the dumplings which lacked in flavour as not enough filling to actually get taste, the meat one was nice, but in general it was disappointing.

Our recent visit to this restaurant tasted a bit bitter, not from the food which was massive and tasty but service and presence, we felt awkward the waiter approached us at arrival and sent us to seat in the corner without explaining us the house rules that before going to the table you have to seat on the leather seats and order drinks and food from there. There were people drinking around and I personally felt intimidated and very unwelcome because we are not polish and so will be treated differently from others who were already at their table when waiter offered them a menu.
