Birchvale Players are an Amateur Dramatic Club based at Birchvale Theatre in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway who annually produce: -
•Two Full Length Plays

•A Pantomime

•A Programme of One Act Plays

Through our own efforts we have our own 78 seat Theatre, The Birchvale Theatre, situated in the grounds of Dalbeattie Primary School, Southwick Road, Dalbeattie.

We use this venue to stage our own performances as well as hosting invited groups of companies, both amateur and professional.

We are members of the Stewartry District of The Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA). This is an organization which seeks to promote theatre and art in Scotland and which holds an annual District One Act Festival during February in Castle Douglas, the winner of which goes onto represent the Stewartry District in the SCDA Western Divisional Finals.
