The Scottish Highlands are a haven for birds and birding. From the tiny Crested Tit, the beautiful summer plumaged Slavonian Grebe to the mighty Golden Eagle we have it all. Add to that amazing wildlife in stunning scenery and experienced local birding guides then you have the recipe for a perfect bird watching holiday. From an afternoon or morning, a full day birding in the field or a fully organised bird watching holiday don't feel like you are part of the crowd.
If you are planning a bird watching trip to Scotland at any time of the year, please contact Birding Ecosse and talk through what your requirements are and take advantage of any special offers that we may have running at the time. And don't forget, we specialise in birds but do see an amazing array of wildlife in all of our tours.
Let us collect you from a location of your choice in the Moray /Inverness area in our fully insured private car, provide an experienced local birding guide to transport you on your selected tour then drop you off, once again, at a location in the Moray /Inverness area.
Alternatively, if you prefer to use your own transport then arrange a meeting point and time and we will be there, this will reduce the cost of the chosen tour.
So do not delay, if you intend Birdwatching in the Scottish Highlands, please contact Birding Ecosse and let your holiday begin! We look forward to meeting you and showing you what our fantastic country has to offer.

Whist we were in Scotland we had a great and informative day out with bird guide David Slater from Birding Ecosse . Despite the weather and rough seas we managed to view a number of divers and ducks, most of which we would not have spotted on our own. Species included black guillemot, guillemot, long tailed duck, eider, great northern diver, red throated and black throated divers, little auk, common and velvet scoters, common gull and snow bunting. Thanks also to Dave for his tips for other bird viewing sites (one of which produced our first crested and coal tits), places to visit and cafes to eat in.
We had a wonderful day. Dave was so friendly and knowledgeable and it was such a fun day with fabulous birds.
Spent a fantastic morning on the Black Isle and Beauly Fifth with Dave from Birding Ecosse. Very highly recommended if you're anywhere near the Scottish Highlands and have any level of interest in birds. Dave knows where to go and tailors the tour for your interest.
