Bishop'S Move Edinburgh

Bishops move arrived in my street to move someone in they parked over my driveway they were politely asked to move the van so we could get out we were told that they were not moving till 2 o'clock i phoned head office to complain not very helpful i then phoned the police who came and told the driver to move the van away from my driveway i have a notice on my fence saying disabled person please leave space witch was ignored by this driver we then got verbal abuse from the men on the van the manager phoned me with no apology he then went on to say my husband threatened his worker's it is all lies

Absolutely terrible service. The manager is so rude via email. Nice enough face to face. Ignored my emails after my house was packed up into a container to be shipped to Australia. Never received my inventory or my container number, until I had to get my brother in law to call, time difference made it harder for me to call.
Stuff arrived so badly packed it was unreal. Kitchen knives just thrown in boxes. A TV at the bottom of the box with heavy kitchen goods on top of it. Damaged cot. Would never recommend them to anyone!!! Not for international shipment anyway!!!

Perfect experience. I could not fault my experience with the company. Great price, staff, help and quickness of order.

Just had Bishops Move pack and load all our precious possessions from the heart of Edinburgh into a 20 foot container to send to NZ.

They were brilliant!

There is so many companies out there but most are based way out of Edinburgh and they send a salesman around then contract out to whomever to pack and transport your stuff. We have shifted backwards and forwards a couple times now and have become reasonably experienced in knowing how movers operate. So definitely best to get a locally based mover and with the British Association of Removers (BAR). Most have it which means your stuff gets packed and transported professionally. Bishops is national wide but have a branch / warehouse here in Edinburgh right next to Ikea. They told me they are just shifting to a bigger and brighter warehouse out at Penicuik.

Kenny was great (best out of 5 sales people that came to quote) in making us decide on who to use. Clockwork was pretty close as runner up.

Audrey the office lady was lovely making sure it all got organised super smoothly.

And Colin and Kevin were absolutely awesome (really nice guys) in packing and loading the container as that is what we all customers are scared of!

So go and get a quote from them and have full faith that you are getting the best service possible for Bishops Move!

The guys that helped us move were fantastic, happy guys. They were nice to chat to and considerate of our things. The move was done quickly and by the end of the day we were in our new place. Would thoroughly recommend.
