Would give more than 5 stars if possible, wouldn't go anywhere else! All staff super friendly, always up for some banter and accommodating! Have had tattoos by both John and Spacey, could not be happier with their designs and dedication to creating exactly what you are looking for. Highly recommend!

This place is an amazing tattoo shop. Sat with John a few time for a peice on my arm and it's turned out better than I thought it ever would. Great chat great atmosphere great advice on future work and a great cuppa tea as well. It's getting 5 starts because face book won't let me give it the 10 the place deserves!!

This is an awesome tattoo parlor! The staff members were superb, highly accommodating and extremely professional. The shop was perfectly sterile making us feel safe enough to get tattooed there while on vacation. Everything about the experience was top notch from the receptionist who was cheerful, welcoming and one of the most knowledgeable we’ve ever encountered, to Ismael who helped us tweak our designs into something doable in the time we had available, to our artist Spacey who did incredible work for us and stayed well after closing time to finish the designs which made our tattoos absolutely everything we’d imagined! You guys rock - thanks for the great work. We will definitely return for more ink the next time we find ourselves in Scotland!!!! -with Juan De Leon

Thanks to Barry at Bizarre Ink for the tattoo of Mary. The time & effort you put in was second to none. I’ve had great reactions from people who have seen it. My favourite was ‘that’s one of the most beautiful tattoos I have ever seen’. I’ll definitely be back.

Professional in every single aspect, most places turned me away through detail of the tattoo and probably knew how much it meant to me so probably never wanted to risk it but I contacted bizarre ink and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!! I seen Barry Goddard, had a 10-15 minute conversation and I was booked in the following week. That was my first tattoo and I can’t describe how much it means to me and I couldn’t have asked for it to be any more perfect than what it was! I’ll be back to get the other half done and a part on my chest!

My usual tattooist decided to shut shop half way through doing my sleeve, seen bizarre ink on here messaged them got a reply within minutes and was getting my arm finished 2 days later! Lovely people that instantly make you feel very welcome! Would highly recommend to anyone and 6 days later my arms nearly healed, ive never healed that quick! I'll deffo be in soon too book touch ups for after my holiday, Thanks again John :)

Me and my boyfriend were staying in Edinburgh for a few days to celebrate his birthday. Thought a tattoo would be a great way to mark and remember the occasion. Booked in with Ismael and he had us in the following morning (today). Such a friendly guy and felt like we were in the company of a friend. Highly recommended! Would definitely come back to him when we’re up again!! �

This guy went over and above for me my partner and our friend I live down south and was coming up for a visit I had seen some of Ismael’s work which looked incredible. I sent him a few designs I liked and he worked his magic completely different with his own swing on it.

He also done the same for my partners tattoo. she hadn’t had a tattoo for 8 years and was very nervous but Ismael like many of you may or may not know is very calming and a great laugh (always smiling) makes you as a customer at bizarre ink feel at ease.

If you are thinking of getting a tattoo here don’t think just do it they’re awesome!!

Highly recommend Bizzare Ink, Edinburgh. I am travelling through Europe with my other half and while staying in Edinburgh for a couple of nights, we decided to get a spontaneous tattoo. From the time we walked in, to walking out, we were both blown away with the service we received. We dealt with Ismael and he was absolutely lovely. Made us both feel very comfortable, was highly professional and kept the conversation going which made us feel right at home.

Ismael's manager (so sorry, didn't catch his name) was hilarious and also made our experience highly enjoyable.

Had a sitting with John on Christmas Eve it was a tattoo of my dog name I can honestly say I found John very good at understanding what I wanted in my tattoo also very professional in his sitting if anyone is thinking of going to the studio I will highly recommend them to do so thanks again guys

I walked in told the tattoo artist what I wanted (wasn't 100% sure) he went above and beyond designed something I'm more then happy with!

He was very light handed and the conversation was great! 10/10 with my experience!

Fantastic service with a great bunch of artists. Every visit Iv been made to feel welcome and at ease.

Like the fact the guys will explain if something is a bad idea and how it’ll fair in the long run as to just ink you up without any regard. I intaitally had a certain vision for a piece but after a brief conversation was made to see sense and go with something a lot better.

Easily the most enjoyable tattoo I've ever had. Talked through my idea with me, made useful and valid suggestions on everything from style to placement, and they obviously took real pride in their work. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether it's your 1st tat or your 51st.
