That’s it for another year. Last calf hit the ground yesterday a nice wee heifer calf. 7 bulls and 3 heifer calfs this year all in good health can’t ask for much more!

First ever home bred bull now out running with cows! Fingers crossed this pair will produce a beautiful calf next year🤞 Bachy 44th of woodneuk and Eoin Mhor of Black Glen!

Eoin Mhor of Black Glen a young bull that was successfully shown this year has been retained to be used as the stock bull for the next few years. We hope he can breed as well as his back pedigree has in the past!🤞

Bachy 44th of woodneuk was purchased at Oban, top price 3 year old and one of the picks of the day. With Royal highland show champions on both parents sides what a heifer she is!

Calving is well underway at Black Glen since Thursday we’ve welcomed the arrivals of two new bull calfs out of two of my best cows! 2 down 8 to go!
