Fantastic atmosphere. Pricey even for their own beers. But still one of the best places to get a drink Inverness.

Always an awesome place to visit! One of the few very decent bars in Inverness, great selection of drinks topped with some great oven fired pizzas. Cool little roof top area to chill out and enjoy a few beers

Black Isle Bar is a lovely vibrant environment that is good for a whole manner of visits. I have found this venue as a great place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere as well as a great place to have some enjoyable after work drinks with collegues. The only issue i have is some of the beers can be a bit pricey. But all of the different ales and beers available ate a great taste of high quality local brewing.

Great selection of beers and spirits in a very nice rustic styled pub. The roof terrace is great for some 'fresh air'. Doesn't seem to attract a young crowd which is good.

have one drink after long walk,really relax,my partner said his IPA is pretty good, my porter is not the best Ive got, but still better than others in Scotland. have to go there if u like craft beer when u visit Inverness. close to railway station.

Enjoyed the mixed green salad, the greens were nice and fresh with a variety of lettuce that I love. Pizza crust was perfect! Would eat here again.

Great local beer selection. Fresh food (pizza) and a nice atmosphere.

Organic, rustic, downtown energy. Bartenders that are doing a great job fast. Super clean rooms. Casual fun beer garden.

Local brewery in house with great quality of beer. Excellent Wood fired pizza, with great red sauce, (one pizza can be shared by two people). Family friendly with an upstairs hidden garden that accommodates more. Highly recommend the Scotch Ale.

Bar, pizza and en-suite rooms. Busy when we walked in but quick serviceabd helpful staff. The beer is on tap behind bar, good selection of spirits and must be good wine as a group of women came in and only ordered that. There is a wood fired pizza oven. The seating is more communal as there are long benches rather than small tables. There's also a secret garden but we didn't venture that far!

This place has a great atmosphere, lighting is warm and fuzzy with a wide mix of clientele. The staff are happy to take the time to discuss the wide offering of excellent booze. I dont drink often and some of the stuff on offer is pretty demanding for my pallete but better that than the watery mediocrity you get everywhere else! My partner has had the pizzas offered here and rates them highly but if you are a big eater you might want more.

New bar 2016. Interesting minimalist layout...old bits of furniture cobbled together.
Large selection of ales and lagers from the brewery. Pricey though - most sold in half pints around £3.00 and more.
Food wise not fully checked out but menus look interesting and they make pizzas in their wood fired oven.

Nice pub. Friendly staff & great atmosphere. Bit on the pricey side though. Accommodation is basic but very clean and in great condition. For the smokers, there's the Secret Garden upstairs which is partially covered and nicely laid out.
