Planet Ice Blackburn Arena is the North West's premier Ice Skating facility, offering a wide range of public Ice Skating sessions and Ice Sports.

Whether you're looking for a fun family day out or you've set your sights on being the next olympic gold medal skater or Ice Hockey player, Blackburn Ice Arena has it all.
As the North West's Regional Centre of Ice Skating Excellence, this premier ice skating facility offers something for everyone. With a full size ice pad, a gym, bar, and cafe we offer year round skating, disco sessions, family skating and holiday fun. The fun doesn't end on the ice with great party and catering facilities on hand.
Not forgetting, of course, our very own Blackburn Hawks Ice Hockey team and Junior Ice Hockey development program.

Planet Ice Blackburn are pleased to announce that this year’s ‘Christmas Day’ charity skate will be in partnership with Derian House Children’s Hospice.
All money raised from the Christmas Day Skate will go to providing much needed equipment and supplies to all children who are using the hospice now and in the future.
