Typical british pub with rich offer of drinks and really kind waiters.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Inverness. Great selection of beers, I think the decor of the pub is of a traditional sense which I like. You don't get all the young idiots going there so it's a great place to go for a nice pint 🍻 and a live band

Been coming here for 10 years now, best wee pub I've been too, amazing Real Ales and amazing owners

User

Proper drinking pub with a fine selection of beer mats!

User

That's the way an old style pub should be!
Do not expect a 5 star restaurant...but expect good food at good prices, a lot of good beers, local people, good musicians, old style atmosphere...go to this pub and enjoy a real Scottish experience.

Fine wee pub in the heart of inverness. Staff dead friendly, and locals welcoming & chatty too

User

Trad pub with good ales - trad music and reeks with atmosphere

User

Good cask ales not much to say.

Awful, rude and ignorant landlord. A complete old fart who manages to treat what few customers he has with utter contempt.

If you want real ale in Inverness, drink at the castle. It's nicer all round and the staff are far friendlier. If you're on Academy Street, go to the Phoenix. Much better atmosphere.

I've worked in bars for a lot of my life and this place offered the worst hospitality I have ever received.
