Place grubby/untidy. Staff pleasant enough but unmotivated.
Cheap and not so cheerful. Not what I've come to expect from a Wetherspoons.😒

Enjoyable quiet place to have a drink ,a meal and a blether . Reasonable prices . Some staff could do with being more. Pleasant.

Good food but service left a lot to be desired, for whatever reason only 1 person was serving the tables yet there was 3 behind bar and i would say the tables were busier than the bar.

Hope you like queues. Service is terrible. Ice cream was delivered cradled I the waitresses arms and Knickerbocker glory was totally melted and a refund was provided with not a word of apology.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Cheap drinks and lots of festivals throughout the year eg cider, real ale etc. Good value breakfasts and child friendly until 7pm. Good to go for a cuppa and do some work on the laptop 😀

Had the managers deal, £3.99 for fish and chips. Didn't expect much but the plate was huge, piping hot and delicious, couldn't believe how good it was. Only nasty side was done if the punters who were stealing jam off the bar when the staff weren't looking - nasty Yankee tourists

Friendly staff and speedy service. Although there were a few problems. Firstly the toilets were poorly lit and a little untidy. The coffee was weak and poorly filtered and the eggs served with my breakfast would've bounced if dropped (see photo). I regularly visit Wetherspoons Pubs regularly and this one is well below par.

Coffee; poor, like dishwater, even after asking for it to be refreshed. Eggs; vastly overdone, old, unpleasant. Staff were pleasant and friendly, though we did have to ask to have the table wiped.

Definitely need to get someone in to replace some bulbs - both in the restaurant and in the toilets - very dark atm.

Not up to Wetherspoons standard.
