Handmade furniture by Matthew Chalk, using wood from Mottisfont and reclaimed sources to create iconic 'stand out' furniture pieces.

This is the creative woodcraft business of Matthew Chalk, who creates a variety of fine to rustic contemporary and vintage furniture in his workshop in the heart of the Test Valley in Hampshire.

Making one-off pieces of furniture or art to working from drawings for commission purposes, Matthew has a passion for bringing the innate beauty and tactility out in the wooden items that he creates.

Matthew can also be seen at the Winchester Arts and Crafts markets on the third Sunday of each month, and the Winchester Vintage and Retro markets on the first Sunday of each month. There you will be able to see a selection of some of his current works.
