Blackwaterfoot Lodge And Black Grouse Restaurant

I didn’t stay here at the hotel but my friend and I wandered down to town from the Greannan in search of a good dinner. We were not disappointed. The decor and ambience was beautiful, the food was really special, and the service was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. I loved it and miss it already!!!

The food is amazing. I really wasn't expecting it to be that good! It was so special!
We had a fantastic meal then spent the evening in the lovely bar drinking great beer.

Great, fine dining food and wine. Apologetic host due to shortage of staff, but they made up for it. We like automatic table water and clean, cloth napkins. Friendly and welcoming people.

Beautiful location, Clean Hotel. Very nice service. Dinner was awesome. The chef even cooked off the menu for vegetarian guests in our group. Will definitely stay there when we visit Arran again.
