was there yesterday with my grandchildren, first time i have been in a lot of years, We all thorougy enjoyed our day, to the extent that they didn't want to leave, the eldest is17 and she was like a big wean. the youngest 7 the others 10 and 14 and they all loved it just as much. a great day for all ages.

User

We were here just yesterday and although it rained nothing dampened anyone's spirits. Was so nice to see so many people out enjoying themselves. Entry price was good although I think you should get the book thrown in as at 3.50 felt a bit steep but my 7yr old heard her so felt had to buy it. Animals were fab. Sea lion show was amazing and we loved seeing all the other animals non more so than the elephant who put on a wee show for us reaching up for his food was such an amazing thing to see him do. My wee one and friends wee ones were mesmerized was just beautiful highly recommend as a day out. Lots to see and do whatever the weather. And friendly bunch of staff too who clearly work so hard to keep the place running so well.

User

Me and my sister made a last minute decision yesterday to go to the safari park! We had a brilliant day, we must’ve looked like the biggest kids at the Safari Park. We had a great day and love how suited the safari park is to all ages.

User

Love the safari park been there too many times to count , this is the first time I have had to come by bus . I loved it .Got the safari bus in the park to go see the animals, the driver was brilliant told us a lot of good information. My granddaughters loved it . Great value had loads of tokens left , so another visit I think to use them up . See you soon

User

It's a brilliant park with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. I've been quite a few times before and really enjoyed it. If i had one criticism it would be the waiting times for the trampolines .We qued for over 40 minutes but other than that, we had a brilliant day.

User

It was mine and my little girls first time on Saturday, price was reasonable and food places wasn’t to bad either will differently be coming back with rest of the family so I would recommend to others.

User

Had an amazing time. We were there all day and still think we never got round the whole thing. The only down fall was that you had to pay for some of the kiddies rides. Staff were all very friendly. If you get chance then make the trip you will not be disappointed

User

Had a fantastic day yesterday with my mum and my boyfriend, as the last time I was there was about 30 years ago and don't remember much back then and now that I was there yesterday I can have fantastic and fabulous memories about being there with my boyfriend and my mum. I don't think I can have one favorite moment of being there as I loved it all and loved the sea lion show and seeing the meerkats up closer than I would do at the zoo.

User

Had a fabulous day at Blair Drummond safari park well worth the money plenty to do everything was nice and clean definitely would go back without hesitation a lot better than Edinburgh zoo only one thing that I feel needs attention is the toilet facilities within the cafeteria had a lot to be desired I know it’s a very busy area more so to have someone attending to them through out the day .

User

First time here in about 20 years....

Thought we were just going to drive through through enclosures and maybe get a bit of food.

Didn't realise there was so much for kids (and big kids) to do.

Ended up buying 2 annual passes for me and the wife and we'll be back several times over the next few months!

User

Fantastic day out for my sons birthday, only down side was a lot of animals were hidin due to the heat which cant be helped i guess. The water sprays were a bit dodgy would work with tokens sometimes and sometimes not. Apart from that we enjoyed bird of prey show, sea lion show etc :) x

User

Fantastic day out for all the family well worth the money for a day out here so many beautiful animals elephants 🐘 are my favourite my grandchildren had a ball and were sad to leave at end of the day well worth a trip to Blair Drummond for any family highly recommended with five stars ✨ ✨✨✨✨

User

Been here a few times now but yesterday was the first in many years. The safari park is a brilliant day out for kids. Entry fee is reasonable (much cheaper than the zoo). The park is very clean. We had two bbq stands booked and the man in charge was great setting it all up for you and going round topping up when needed. The play area is 2nd to none and also vey clean. After all this I almost forgot about the animals! Saw lots and the sea lion show was great. Will be back soon

User

Been a few times now with the kids and it gets better each time we go. Most definitely worth the admission price with the flying fox etc included. The play fort is amazing and the kids spent 2 hours there and could’ve no doubt spent the whole day there! A well kept park and a terrific family day out :-)

User

Had a great time with my neice yesterday, the only thing I would say is maybe you should get a member of staff to pick up litter around the play area. I know it's not your fault that people are disgusting and leave the rubbish for others to deal with but it really annoys me that they can't walk over to one of the many bins that you have.

User

Fun day was had by my partner and I, my niece and nephew. The only thing I was not impressed with were the female toilets especially with the Volume of traffic coming and going there, no one around to clean them, they didn’t flush, stacked full of toilet tissue. Other than that was an enjoyable wee day, but for me to come back would probably have to keep adding newer attractions.

User

Blair Drummond was a great day out for my three year old and partner and I. We spent 5 hours with loads to do and it felt we could have spent longer if it wasnt closing time. Only issue we faced was with the boat captain in boat one threatening to put us to the back of the queue as we politly requested to wait for the next boat so we can get a side seat i stead of the middle. He actually argued with us despite us insisting that we would rather wait - after us waiting 40 minutes already. People like that should not work in a children’s tourism venue! Overall a great day out for a family and three year old.

User

Admission price is great. I got free admission as a carer, however, I don't believe the criteria is very clear online. Online it states "Proof of entitlement, such as a letter from the DLA, a carers letter or a carers ID badge, will be required." I used a DLA letter as proof of my child's disability, but they said next time they need proof I'm a carer, not that he is disabled, although they said they will accept it this time. :/

There was so much to do, actually ran out of time to do everything. Really enjoyed the seal lion show, play park is amazing, however I would like to see some accessible play equipment there too though, as my 5 year old is in a wheelchair. A massive plus for us is the changing places. It makes the day out so much easier as I don't have to worry about where I can change my son.

The animals looked well cared for and kept.

Food was ok, not bad, just fine.

Couple of cons-

Firstly I was over charged twice. The 1st time was in the restaurant, they charged me for a drink that should have been in the kids meal deal. I did notice straight after I paid and looked at the receipt, and was refunded. The second time was at a snack bar, and they over charged me by a pound, and only realised about 5 mins afterwards when i thought it was rather expensive, but as I didn't get a receipt I didn't bother trying to contest it. So double check every time you buy. Some of the drinks and food were over priced. Didn't help that a coke was really flat, and the slushes were not very nice at all.

It would have also been nice to be able to see the height restriction on the flying fox online before going, or on the site map. My eldest son is about 5cm too small for it, and was hoping to go on it, and if I could have explained to him earlier that he was too short, it would have avoided tears after a few hours of hopes that he would have been able to go on it. It wasn't a big problem, but I'd have rather of prepared him for before for that, as it was the last area we went to.

Used to love coming to Blair Drummond, have fond memories of going with my dad as a child and wanted to share that with my own daughter as my own father has now passed away sadly. We have been a few times before and always had fun but yesterday when we came it was very different. It was a really hot day so can understand when most animals hide away in the shade, but we saw hardly any animals and there used to be loads, there was one elephant a couple of lions, monkeys and a tonne of goats and deer! .. I thought it was supposed to a wild life park not a farm? Even the petting zoo had a few chickens and Llamas that were away out in a field so couldn't get near to pet anything .. every show or demonstration was over crouded too.

However we did have a reasonably priced lunch in the cafe , Macaroni cheese was delicious and great portion sizes and we had some ice cream which was also very nice. Great sized play park and sand pit to take the weight off for 5 mins, I'm just so disappointed that we paid £57 To get in and X amount for food and it wasn't great x
