Blazing Hyena Theatre Company sets out for it debut performance of Death is the New Porn at this years fringe festival at the space venue on the Royal Mile in its 55 seat venue. Blazing Hyena promises to entice the audience in this provocative piece of new writing. Written by Jack Elliot and directed by Ian Dunn, the play tells the story of three 'vigilantes' who take upon themselves to seek revenge for anyone who has been a victim of brutal crimes. As the cracks begin to show and old demons come back to haunt them, the dynamic of the three slowly breaks down, leaving a once tight group of friends revaluating their actions.

The companies statement quotes “makes you cry when you want to laugh and cry when you want to laugh” is sure set to be lived up to in a play which deals with sex, death and deceit and is almost certain to fulfil any audience expectations, dealing with such ruthless and provocative social faux pa’s.

Hopefully this will bring exciting innovative theatre in and push tired traditional theatre “out of the light and into the darkness. ”
