great value for money. loved the puzzles on the tables and box of kids toys to keep my son entertained! staff are lovely and tea room is beautiful.

A lovely little place and a lovely couple running it. Everything, including the toilets, beautiful and clean and tastefully decorated. The food was lovely and the home bakes a real treat. My wife is blind and they were very helpful. Disabled friendly. Adrian Smyth

Discovered the Blue Flax Tea Room today and was surprised and delighted on entering to be confronted with an interior which belies it's exterior appearance.
Operated by the owners will always be a bonus as care and attention is given priority.
The standard of taste and flavour is on an equal to any other quality establishment.
An unusual challenge are the wooden puzzles on each table which alas , I was unable to solve. However , it gives me an excuse to return and have another attempt.
I would underline this tea room as being a must for any aficionado of tea room visitations.

Gorgeous place with hearty plates of good homemade food and delicious desserts. Very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit. We will be back!

12 of us came her for a birthday lunch. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Food was great and cakes and coffee delicious. Highly recommend.

Modern and very welcoming church convertion to cafe. Cosy inside. The menu is fairly standard but done very well.
