BLUE Planning & Development are a wholly independent firm of Chartered Planning & Development Surveyors. We are regulated by both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Our Cutting Edge:
BLUE Planning & Development was set-up in 2007, specifically to meet the needs for development surveyor skills in the processes of the planning system. Simon Harrison, Principal, is a well recognised expert in the planning world, and is one of only a few professionals in Scotland with both planning authority and developer experience. He is a longstanding professional member of the RTPI and holds the professional accreditation – at the most senior Fellowship level – of the RICS Planning & Development Faculty.
BLUE Planning & Development were one of the first firms to achieve the “Chartered Planning & Development Surveyors” status and lead the field in the move towards combining the skill sets of the Development Surveyor, with those of the Planning Consultant, a potent mix now recognised as essential in a world where the complexities of the planning system have become even greater.
