Agree with previous review - clinics regularly run late. Explanation I usually hear is M8 traffic.

MONEY GRABBERS OVER CARE!!

I recently had surgery here. I found and found medical staff very professional, sympathetic and all together very pleasant to deal with.

Sadly the admin team was very chaotic with me repeatedly signing the same forms and them not making update to my details despite being told several times. They are also driven completely by money and constantly go on about billing and getting debit card details. They further sent my information to the wrong address.

Also although the place presents as very hygienic I find the decor and building very tatty and run down with an overall dull and depressing feeling.

I also checked in at 5pm and was fasting for surgery. I was advised I would have a meal after surgery but they forgot to order it and was just expected to eat tea and toast. I ordered in a take away and hit them with the bill which they argued over paying. It was either they paid it or explained it in the Sheriff Court for breach of contact as my insurance covered food as well as a nights stay. Shocked to see they charged my insurance £1700.00 for an 18 hour stay in theirs premises. Would not mind if service was of any value. The people you need deal with are very false and really not got the skills to be in the role. A night at the Ritz would be much cheaper with a far better service.

I also needed a follow up after surgery but my consultant was away on holiday and I was advised to wait several days to see an alternative. They wanted me to see there 'sister' before my consultant which is just a con to get money. I asked if she could deal with it..refused to answer. That's their procedure apparently. I saw GP who referred me to NHS hospital immediately as he had concerns that 5 days was to long a wait in case the blood supply had died to the tissue!!

Breakfast was also terrible. A dry, chewy bacon roll and the kitchen/cafe closes at funny hours when you go down they finished food and and back to sandwiches.

I would have great difficulty recommending this hospital having regard to my experience of other treatment I received elsewhere!

Problem is you not got much options in Glasgow...if you can go further a field!!!

It was great. When I went there. I had to go to the Gents. A man in their asked if I was there to have sex. I wasn't I needed to pee. Turned into a great time. He tried it on. I smashed his face in. I gave him my details so we can plan another memorable occasion like this one.

Was in Ross Hall for an operation and an overnight stay recently. Can't fault them at all! Shown to a clean, hotel standard room by a lovely lady... Op went smoothly but after some complications I had to go back to theatre the same night. My condition was dealt with promptly, my consultant called and I was back in theatre in under an hour at 9pm. Nurses were great, really helpful and super friendly. Discharge was efficient, no waiting around, and was even wheeled down to pharmacy to collect my meds. On pre-op and follow up appointments I've been met by equally lovely staff. Thanks for such great care :)

Staff great, unfortunately after a total knee replacement the wound has caused me great concern. The internal close up sutures would not have gained any plaudits on the Great British Sewing Bee.... My wife likened the wound to a badly finished oggy..(Cornish Pastie). I have subsequently spent nearly 1 week in an NHS hospital on IV antibiotics due to complications and a further 4 weeks on oral antibiotics and now after more than 8 weeks since the surgery the knee and navigator wounds are still requiring weekly visits to hospital. I have contacted Ross Hall to notify them of my condition but found a lack of interest. Post surgery duty of care was below the standard that I would have expected.

Had an ACL "Internal Brace" Repair done with Prof. Gordan Mackay who in my opinion is a super star of sports medicine. Hospital and its staff were simply excellent. All the people whom I interacted with were extremely professional, attentive and caring. The hospital itself has a lot of character and warmth. I was there early April 2016.
