stayed in camelon for over 10years when boardwalk opened we always drove passed never thought about going for lunch,dinner,but tonight my 9year old grandaughter says can we go to boardwalk for a change , so we went for dinner the 3 off had the carvery it was the best carvery we have had in a long time, after our dinner we decide have deserts really hard to decide what to pick as lots of tasty deserts, in the end i had a strawberry and white chocolate crepe it was superb my patner had a big massive meringue she said it was fantastic,my grandaughter had bannana and milk chocolate crepe she said it was delicious, the place inside is lovely and spotless clean, staff very nice helpfull and friendly, marks out 10 got be 10 out of 10, we will be back and will recomend to all our friends,,,,

We were regulars of the previous restaurant for years and it was a go to place to take our family and friends too but latterly it appeared run down to the extent we asked staff if the ownership had changed. In short we stopped going months ago. But recently when we passed we noticed the new signage so yesterday my wife and I thought we try the Boardwalk for lunch and we we're mightily impressed. The new decor is fresh, bright and inviting. The waiters are more mature and professional but more importantly the food matched the billing. The Boardwalk is now back on our go to list and we will be returning with guests soon.

We were here last nite with a bunch of friends. Can highly recommend the Boardwalk. From start to finish the staff can't do enough for you and the meals were lovely good portions and a gluten free menu too. Will be back

Visited today for lunch and having heard mixed reviews about the restaurant, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I am pleased to say that the experience was a good one. The décor is fabulous and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My friend and I both ordered the Haggis Gourmet Burger which was absolutely delicious and was served within about 10 minutes of our order being taken. Will definitely be back soon and look forward to trying the carvery next time or perhaps the afternoon tea which looked fabulous.

To be honest I was a little sceptical about coming to the restaurant as we heard so much mixed reviews with more to the "don't bother" than "you'll love it". However, I'm a great believer that until I've been and experienced something myself then it's up to me to make up my own mind. From walking into the restaurant the ambience and decor was 10/10. We were greated with a smile and offered a table that was suitable for our double buggy which was very thoughtful not just for us but also the surrounding guests. The drinks orders were received in prompt style as was the food even with a packed restaurant today for Father's Day. Both starter and main course plates were hot (bugbear of mines when hot food is served on cold plates!!) as was the food hot and presentation was lovely too. Clearly the management of the staff about who does what and when is working to the naked eye. I appreciate this doesn't always go to plan behind the scenes but to us as the guest it was seamless. So thank you to the Manager and staff for making today's Father's Day an experience in your restaurant a reason to return and to add another recommendation for others to come try this restaurant out for themselves. In addition, for been so polite and courteous to our little boy, making him comfortable and getting him crayons to colour in his menu/activity sheet. This was our first visit to this restaurant following it being taken over by new owners. The refurbishment has been carried out to a very high standard and is now bright, well designed and a pleasure to dine in. The outside has also been given a makeover with a glass surrounded seating area and an area echoing the nautical theme with flower filled boats, sails and rope work. Very pleasing on the eye. We were welcomed by a friendly waiter who ensured that we had a table in our chosen area, despite the restaurant being busy. The menu was extensive and there was a car very available. My only concern was that there were few vegetarian dishes on the menu but the waiter explain that some dishes could be altered to be vegetarian. We are non meat eaters but do eat fish, so ordered the smoked finnan haddock, served on a bed of mashed potato, covered in cheese sauce with grilled mature cheddar on top. An excellent meal and so filling that we could not manage a dessert. Perhaps next time as the dessert menu looked enticing. Overall we were impressed by staff, service, quality of food and surroundings. I wonder if it would be possible to have a car very option that was vegetarian or fish, as it looked amazing?

Popped in for soup and a coffee strawberry tart was to die for. Checking the meals out the was being taken to tables around us looked amazing, we will definitely be back for a meal, the place was lovely, service was good staff was friendly

It was a spur of the moment decision to go there but I 'll be back!Bright attractive decor well set table and comprehensive menu.The staff are using technology to place orders so conse quently both our drinks and meal arrived promptly.Tge three of us chose differently and all really enjoyed our meal.Well done BOARDWALK�

I was ‘out and about’ with my mum and my one year old daughter this afternoon and decided to dine out. When my mum suggested trying the Boardwalk I was unsure. But I am now so glad she talked me into it. From the minute we arrived everything was perfect. The exterior and interior decoration was lovely - light, clean and spacious.

The atmosphere was relaxed and although it was very busy for a Tuesday night, it wasn’t too noisy. (Well - Apart from my daughter causing mayhem).

The staff were attentive and friendly. They even suggested we order my daughters dinner first to give it time to cool and to keep her happy while we were still browsing the extensive menu.

There is something on the menu to suit all tastes. I loved the variety and did take some time to decide what I wanted!

I commented to my mum that if the food tasted as good as it read on the menu then I would be happy.... well - it did! The Mexican crepe was amazing !

Of course I had to have a dessert!

Overall, I am so happy we visited Boardwalk tonight. The full experience was fantastic. It can be stressful dining out with an active, sassy and impatient one year old but we were all so relaxed and happy. I would certainly recommend The Boardwalk to anyone.

Had a fab meal here last nite..we got the lentil.soup to start which was lovely and both myself and my husband got the steaks on a sizzling plater gorgeous! and for dessert we got "very sticky toffee pudding"very tasty!..place is lovely..and busy.. decor is gorgeous..staff were realy friendly ..will defo be bk again.

First visit today and can’t find any faults. Warm friendly welcome as soon as we entered the building. Atmosphere within the restaurant is nice with all waiting staff very professional and friendly. Order was taken by Kevin who was friendly and professional. First time ever we have been beaten and not been able to have a dessert as we were to full. Will definitely be back

First time here since the change from wheelhouse and I am impressed with the new decor, very bright and airy .

Staff very attentive and no sitting waiting for long periods to be served .

Food was better than expected in fact it was exceptional .

As this was our wedding anniversary I wanted somewhere nice to take my wife and I am glad I made the right choice .

We will definitely return and recommend to our friends .

First time here celebrating my daughter Emma’s 10th Birthday. The staff were all fantastic and service was great. They also had a great selection for gluten free options for my requirements. As we were here for my wee girl’s birthday, the front of house staff decided to make a fuss over her. When her dessert came, they played birthday music, put candles in her hot chocolate brownie (which looked amazing!) and sang happy birthday to her. All the other diners in the restaurant joined in as well and just made Emma’s birthday that wee bit more special. Thank you very much for an enjoyable first visit and we will definitely be back

Amazing service and delicious food! A wide selection of food and drink to choose from and the portions are very generous. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I’m in a wheelchair and they subtly offered extra help without making me feel awkward. We will definitely be back x

After an anticipated wait to try out The Boardwalk, I was eventually able to dine here for lunch with my daughters. What a beautiful restaurant it is with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and escorted to table 1 by the window, with our drinks orders taken and exchanged pleasantries, my 3 yr old was given her little crayons and worksheet to keep her amused. Our server Danelle was just so lovely, even amending the kids menu for my extremely fussy toddler, making the whole experience a whole lot nicer. Both my adult daughter and i had 3 courses and sides, all of which was fantastically presented, cooked perfectly and of course tasted as great as it looked.

Safe to to say we will return.

my Eife runs a Dog Yraining class in Falkirk fortnightly and as we were coming from Glasgow so in the opposite direction than usual we noticed “ Boardwalk” from the roundabout and decided to give it a go ! We weren’t disappointed Food was excellent and importantly for me , piping hot ! Staff were attentive and pleasant and service was fast. Safe to say we will make s point of returning

I was here a cpl of weeks on a Sunday afternoon for a drink with my husband & son. We sat outside & went inside to order a drink at the bar & ice-cream for my son to be told they don’t serve desserts outside. After ordering drinks & going back out we noticed 2 women at the table next to us eating cakes� Is this not classed as a dessert????

Also waited about 15 mins for 3 drinks. Shocking service.

Booked a table for 4 people 14/7.. we arrived they had no booking for us but give them their due we were seated. But it didn’t get off to a good start waited ages and they were not that busy we ordered the 2 hubbys gave their order and we decided on the carvery so were told to wait until they told us to go up eventually we were told after hubbys got theirs to go up and from there it went downhill quickly mistakes made etc etc too many to go into detail on here, anyway we were really disappointed on the service and couldn’t believe how much it came to I appreciate that it’s not pub grub but considering the errors and time wasted we didn’t get out til 22.15 ... won’t be back, shame really as it is a beautiful place !!
