Here's one of my favourites from this week, this client stopped by to pick up new jewellery for their rook piercing, and ended up falling in love with another piece from our range of Interstellar Jewelry Productions, so had their helix pierced with it after we installed the first piece.

Hi folks! So, here's a quick walk-through of what you'll see when you enter the studio.
We follow a 'challenge 25' policy, which means that if you look under the age of 25, you'll be asked for I.D.
... The minimum age for ANY piercing excluding earlobes is 14+. Some piercings have higher age restrictions due to the nature of their placement, or how complicated the healing process is.
This week i've met 14 year olds that look about 9, and i've seen some 13 year olds that look much older. The point being, there's no way for me to prove that you are the age you say you are without some photo identification. If you're under 16 then one of your parents will also need to be present, but they cannot act as a form of I.D. Why? because some parents are willing to lie. 👌
You can't buy cigarettes or alcohol with parental consent, or a written note from your mum, so you won't be able to get pierced or tattooed with those things either.
We don't want to sound like big meanies, but the law isn't up for debate.

This client stopped by for a check up on her daith piercing we did two weeks ago. She opted for a highly polished ring from our range of basic titanium jewellery.

Full make over for this doll of a client 💖 She noticed a post i'd made about why certain materials aren't safe for long term wear and decided it was time to upgrade her jewellery game!
She picked a ring from Interstellar Jewelry Productions for her conch, and some pieces from NeoMetal Titanium Body Jewelry for her helix and tragus. :)

My good buddy Steven has been stretching his earlobe piercings just to wear these beautiful eyelets from NAGA Body Jewelry. They're made from silver, and plated with 24 carat yellow gold with a garnet centre stone. 🔥

We've had a few phonecalls this week from clients looking for the "migraine" piercing, someone even had a referral from their doctor advising they get it done.😱
Unfortunately there has still been no information released stating that the placement of this piercing will have any positive effect on the reduction of migraines.
I understand it *may* have worked for some people, this, however, is not good enough verification or testing to prove it's a useful method.

Nicole Cairns Tattoo added some more piercings to her ears, we did her helix with this 14ct white gold 'Tooth' attachment from SO Fine Jewelry, and sneaked in some earlobe piercings, too!

This week has broken more than a few personal records, it's been craaaazy busy from Tuesday morning until closing this afternoon!
I've pierced 12 kids this week, all of them have been amazing to work with, and nobody shed a tear which has been truly delightful 💖 This tiny badass got his lobe pierced with a peacock blue opal from NeoMetal Titanium Body Jewelry.

Just gunna leave this here since it's the summer holidays.
When it comes to piercing earlobes on clients under 14, a consultation is required a few days before the piercings will be done. I've found that giving kids plenty of notice and information before their first piercings helps to keep them calm and feel more comfortable during their appointment. :)
