It's Grounds Day this Sunday and we're hoping we can complete our jobs in the morning (we'll be there from 10). There's planting, weeding and general tidying to be done. There will be usual home baking, top tunes and house points for our wonderful helpers as well as basking in the glory of being a jolly good person ☺️🧹🦚🌱🌺🌻

The PTA would like to say a huge thank you to local fitness business MUMS ON THE RUN for sponsoring our sports days helping with the running costs involved with the events.
MUMS ON THE RUN is a fitness group for mums where they can bring their baby or young child in a pram to exercise alongside mum from 6 weeks and up. They are cardio and toning classes with a supportive, friendly atmosphere.
... Run by Jenny Williams, a former Bridge of Allan Primary pupil, she can support your journey back into regaining your fitness without you having to find childcare for your little one!

Emergency Life Support - Tue 14th May, 7pm-9pm ... This will cover 'Heartstart' and is a certificated course. It covers dealing with conscious and unconscious casualities, serious bleeds, choking, heart attacks and cardiac arrests.
Sound Sleep - Wed 15th May, 9am-10am This workshop is for parents and will explore: * What sleep is, what it is for and why it is important to our physical and emotional wellbeing. *Why children at Primary School need 10-11 hours of sleep per night. *What can stop you getting a good night's sleep and what actions you can take to get one.
Online Safety - Thurs 16th May, 2pm-3pm NSPCC and O2 are running an hour-long interactive workshop with tips, tools and advice on how to keep your child safe online.

🤩Pre-Loved Uniform Shop🤩
It is hoped that the Pre-Loved uniform shop will open again in the next couple of weeks but we need some helpers to open the shop. The most popular requests for days to open were Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are able to run the shop on one of those days, either at drop off or pick up for half an hour please message the PTA facebook page; message on the What’s App volunteers group or drop a note into the office with your name, contact number and when you would be able to help out.
**We also need more donations of good quality school uniform please. **

Our next Grounds Day is Sunday 19th May. We have our fingers crossed for good weather so we can make it the "Big BofA Picnic Grounds Day!" Bring a picnic rug, some lovely food (we might even provide a bit of home baking) and the whole family and help us out with all the summer jobs which need to be done around the school. There will be the usual music and fun and all children who help out with some jobs will be awarded House Points. It's getting to the end of the school year so it could make a big difference as to who wins that House prize! 10-3. Hope you can join us.

PTA School lottery draw for April. Winning numbers are 15 18 and 86 - congratulations! Winners will be contacted via the email address they gave on the form.

***** P.T.A. Family Ceilidh Postponed ***** The Family Ceilidh arranged for 11th May is postponed due to lack of numbers so we are planning to arrange a Burns themed Ceilidh in January. Thanks : ) The P.T.A. Committee
