Bokieha accommodates six guests and welcomes pets. The house boasts a rural setting in the heart of the West Mainland of Orkney, overlooking beautiful sea views to the north and the most stunning scenery to the south of Hundland Loch, the Hoy hills and Kitchener’s Memorial.
Our spacious accommodation will provide you with the perfect base for walking, fishing, shooting, or visiting many of the fantastic archaeological sites Orkney has to offer. We are just a few minutes’ drive from Kirbuster Farm Museum, Hundland, Boardhouse and Swannay Lochs, the Earl’s Palace and the Brough of Birsay. The famous Skara Brae, Skaill House, Brough of Gurness and Maeshowe are all 10 to 15 minutes’ drive away, but if you fancy relaxing at home, then our south-facing patio adjoining the enclosed garden is the perfect place for alfresco dining (if the weather allows) where you can unwind in peace and quiet, sit back and take in our breathtaking views.
