We were there yesterday night. Came in not much communication. Just 'you want drink'? That all. Not explanation about buffee. One of the staff was standing behind my boyfriend back and checking all the time what we eating if we finish or not on the some time watching TV like he just '' cool'' and watching tv🤣 he look like Aladdin. Other girl was nice. I think the man should be standing somewhere else. Or they have to go visit other places so they can see how good is somewhere else. The most expensive buffee what I have had for that size. Bad experience my boyfriend was disappointed he want to go way without deserts and any other things what they offered. Uncomfortable feelings. Girl should found and other job she to nice for them ☺️

Scrambled about looking for a table for two at various Indians restaurants dotted about the centre of Glasgow on a Saturday night and stumbled across this one on our fifth attempt.

Wandered in and seen they had a buffet and thought that will do for me.

Everything was nice with the standout for me being the chickpea curry that was nestled in beside the starters...lovely!

My only slight disappointment was the nan. I like it quite crispy, with burnt bits round the edges, but the pieces I had were quite soft and pale. Personal choice, of course, so not a disaster (I still ate it).

Too full after starters and mains to tackle deserts.

Good value for money.

Had dinner as a group of 13 last night and they were able to accommodate such a big group. Great varieties of Indian food. Most of the curries we ordered tasted fantastic and the naan was amazing as well. The waiter serving our table was really friendly and welcoming but a little bit pushy at trying to get us to go for the buffet option. Would still return for the amazing spread!

RUDE RUDE STAFF MEMBER! This place is cursed with a very very rude staff member and alas, he waits tables making your dining experience frustrating. This guy is youngest of all and always has something terse to say. With him around you just can't enjoy. We went in a group of 9 with one toddler who doesn't like to sit down. Even though the entire hall was empty this guy made sure that the little guys pram was not allowed at the seat. When the child moved around he almost warned the mother of the baby to make sure her son sits in one place and so does she, so that none of the other (nonexistent ) precious customers get disturbed. Due to this the lady just left her plate and left with her baby. Our lunch was ruined. Bombay Blues you know who I am talking about. Think about replacing him or mending his ways.
Other things now.
1. If you opt the buffet you will come with tummy filled. You will like the food but only once.
2. They have an obsession of using only boneless dry chicken breast in all the gravies making all non veg main course choices tasting the same.
3. Sweet options are good.
4. Starters are all, one or the other fried option. Nothing innovative but some taste good.
5. They don't always mention but their buffet comes with complimentary ice cream, coffee or tea at the end. So don't forget to have yours.
6. Buffet menu NEVER changes. So if you've eaten once you are done!
7. If you're Indian they have this weird habit of giving you a very corner seat next to their fire exit away from the world. Your plate will be cleared less. Your glasses re filled less often. And they will never ever change your seat even if their restaurant is empty. This I have seen thrice.
So I will never go back there again. BOMBAY BOOOO!

I visited this restaurant a few days ago. The food was fantastic. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back here the next time I'm in Glasgow. The waiter asked how the balance of flavours were for me and was interested in my enjoyment of the meal.

Easily one of the best Indian places in the city centre. Everything I had tasted fresh. Waiters were funny, friendly and attentive. The interior looks great and seating is comfortable. Overall a great experience.

I visited Bombay Blues as part of a group of seven for the buffet lunch. Whilst I failed to match my personal best of six plates on this occasion, the buffet selection is decent and the curries are good, but not spectacular.

The lunch deal is good value for money. The various dishes get replenished regularly and the staff are also good at keeping everything in order. When the occasion requires a good humoured, free-for-all, culinary battle royale, The Blues delivers consistently.

Great authentic Indian food, nice ambiance.
For vegetarians, the buffet has great range of starters, but mains are limited. They were happy to serve extra dishes prepared fresh to order, which were included in the buffet price.
Excellent value for money! A must visit and definitely a re-visit restaurant :-)
And the BEST part: Always cheerful, lovely and welcoming staff, courteous service.
