Bo'Ness Old Kirk Description
While our current home has stood for over 125 years, our roots go back to the 12th century and our original home can still be found in the beautiful grounds of Kinneil House. Though a lot has changed in the world since then, we remain committed to sharing the good news of Christ and we offer a warm welcome to all.
We realise that it’s not easy to being a Christian today but we hope that the activities and fellowship which we offer will help strengthen and enlighten on us on what it means to follow Jesus. However, while some may view religious life as dull or boring we don’t agree! Fellowship is the true heart of Christian life and is a key focus of what we do at the Old Kirk. You can find details of the groups which we provide a home to and all our events /activities on our website but everything we do comes with 1 promise – a warm welcome!

Happy Friday everyone! Just a quick reminder of our 2 special events next week. 🎺First up, is the return of our friends at Kinneil Band for a special concert on Wednesday featuring the Youth and Beginners Bands. Plus the Senior Band are giving a special performance of their test piece for this years championship. 🎟Donations can be made on the door to aid the band. 🏴 That’s followed by our Scottish Night on Friday. A night of music and ceilidh dancing plus supper. ... 🎟Only £6 (paid on door) in aid of Church Funds.

After the huge success of their Christmas Concert, we’re delighted to welcome back Kinneil Band for a very special Youth Band concert next Wednesday.
Along with performances from the Youth Band and Beginners Band, the Senior Band will be giving a preview of their Scottish Championship test piece. Its going to be another great night so please come along and show your support - entry is by donation on the door with the concert starting at 7.30pm.
Towers of Jenga and spaghetti, castles, Duplo and loads more at Messy Church! 🏰🧱 We had lots of fun as we learned about strong foundations and welcomed some new faces. All wrapped up with pasta, pancakes and ice cream 👌 🍝🥞🍦 Want to join the fun? We’re back on Sunday 29 March at 3pm 😀
It’s a damp weekend so stay dry inside our Castle and join us at Messy Church tomorrow! 🏰😉 Why is there a castle? ⭐️Holiday Club returns this Summer!⭐️ PLEASE SHARE Join us from Monday 27 to Friday 31 July followed by our family celebration & BBQ event on Sunday 2 August. We're the biggest (and best! 😉) Holiday Club in the area with an action packed week of games, crafts, music, mess, mayhem and more! 🎟Our online booking system opens on Saturday 6 June at 9am but you need to book quick as places go fast (120 kids fully booked within only 15 minutes last year!). Holiday Club is open to ev...eryone in P1 to P7 (including those starting in P1 in August) and details of our programme for those in S1+ will be announced soon. Due to the weather forecast and the ferocity of the wind we're cancelling Oky tonight, sorry. We're off next week due to half term and look forward to seeing you all again on the 23rd of February 🙂
Thanks to teenZone who served lunch in the hall after worship this morning. 🍵🥪🍰 It might be a bit blowy outside but we stayed warm with a lovely lunch, another amazing Cake from Robyn and a good blether.
Just a quick reminder that everyone is invited to lunch after Worship on Sunday. 🍽 Our young people and leaders from teenZone will be serving another tasty lunch in the Hall and you can try out our new chairs 🪑😉
Church isn’t just for Sundays... ⛪️ Our informal half hour worship service is on every Thursday at 10.30am in the comfort of the East Chapel. It’s a short format of praise and a talk followed by refreshments in the Church Hall. So if Sunday’s aren’t your thing then come join us! If you need transport then get in touch and our Minibus Team can pick you up 🚌
