Terrific Tuesday at Boogie Bounce Buckhaven π. Did we work up a sweat today my bouncing beauts or what? π¦ oh and what about or new Strength&Tone class.....oh ya wee beastie! My arms are aching πͺ infact every muscle in my body is aching π. Not forgetting the Buckhaven Primary School P4s who were along for their PE lesson today.....they were just fab! Now that I have different classes on offer I want to start posting some info on the difference between them and why they are equally as important to your fitness goalsπͺπ½
β‘οΈI would highly recommend doing at least one "BBX Strength & Tone" class per week along with a "BBX Cardio" class to see maximum resultsπ₯
... Cardio & resistance training both benefit your body & strengthen muscles but the difference in classes is significantππΌ.
To maintain healthy weight, build muscle and live a long life you need to embrace both.
π Cardio burns more calories during exercise but resistance training burns more even after you exercise up to 36 hours!π³π So while you are resting at home with a cup of tea you are still burning lots of calories π€βοΈ
π As we age we lose bone density and muscle. Resistance training is crucial in fighting this and helping us do every day tasks without injuryπ
π The more muscle we have the more calories we burn in our everyday lives which means we can eat more yummy food :) (My favourite benefit!)ππ
π Cardio Strengthens our bodies circulatory system - heart , lungs and blood vessels which reduces risk of diabetes , high blood pressure, heart attacks and osteoporosisπ
I hope the above information gives you a little insight into WHY I now have a resistance based class and a cardio based class.

This is my story....so here goes. A while ago, my friend dragged me along to my 1st boogie bounce class. I had tried so many exercise/fitness classes through the years but I got bored. Loved my 1st class then booked into my 2nd...that point I was hooked. I then started doing 3 sometimes 5 classes per week. It's took me since then to feel amazing and I'm so proud of how far I've come. I've managed to lose 2 stone 9lbs with boogie bounce alone and by just eating a little healthier. I love it that much that I've went from being a class participant to a shadow instructor...which i qualified on 11th feb 2018. thanks to Caroline Boogie bounce Buckhaven. Xx

Five full, fun fun filled, fast paced classes that had us pounding those trampolines and working up a sweat π¦. Did I tell you that you are all amazing?.......because you are! π. Exercise also helps the body function better. -Whilst that might not be a surprise to you, what may be a surprise is that exercise has an impact on your bowel function.
... So as well as keeping you fit , keeping off weight and can prevent several diseases, regular exercise can help prevent constipation and promotes regular activity in the digestive tract πππΌ
So key tips: πͺπΌ consistent and regular exercise π§ plenty of fluids π₯¦ foods high in fibre stimulate the bowels
